Very bland whatever kind of skirt
I’ll rarely pass up a matching set on here, even when the reviews are just okay. This one kind of lived up to that. It’s… fine. Not terrible, not great. Just mediocre. I still had fun wearing something I’d never actually buy, but the skirt felt very conservative in an unintentional way. I don’t mind a maxi or a midi at all, so it’s not about modesty. It’s more that it sits in that in-between length that doesn’t feel chic. The cut also leaned a little milkmaid to me. Nothing wrong with that vibe, it’s just not really my thing.

Jacket is a yes / Skirt is a no
I wanted to love this skirt but I don’t. It has potential but it’s really loose in the waist with a lot of gapping. It might work better with a size down but the hip would be too tight. If you slide it down, then the buttons pucker. I was very excited about the pockets, but don’t find them functional as the buttons gap leaving you exposed. When worn with the jacket it covers up the waist issue, but I had hoped to wear it alone as well, but I don’t see that happening. Bottom line, good quality, but the fit is off for me. Maybe better for a different body type.

Ok, but strange fit at the waist.
This skirt was great with a red and navy RL sweater. But the waistline is strange, adding almost a “bubble” all the way around, just under the waist. The sweater hid it, but I won’t rent again.

Weird fit
The waist is large, but the hips seem small. Button gapping when I sat. Not a great skirt for me.
