This is exactly the kind of top that I want from RTR! So fun and extra, and not something I would buy permanently for my closet. I had to rent a larger size, but I just pulled the back tighter and safety pinned it. Also though it's a sleeveless backless crop top - the bright red color means it can be styled for the holidays!

If it wasn't so expensive, I would have bought it! It's high-quality, unique and the open back...wow! I didn't have any wardrobe malfunctions due to the single hook like some other reviews mentioned. 10/10

I was a little unsure of how I was going to style this top when I rented it, but the fit was SO GOOD. I wore it for a night out in NYC and people were stopping me on the street over it. Fully open in the back and danced all night without worry of a wardrobe malfunction. This top is such a statement and fits like perfection

Great heavy quality, and this piece fits perfectly. You can't wear a bra, but the material is heavy enough that it's great without one.

Can dress up or down. First wear was casual to a Mexican restaurant with my family. Paired with RTR Gianni polka dot bag. Second wear was with black denim and heels for date night.

At first I was torn between feeling like I was covered in chic post-it notes and completely loving it, but once I had it on, the top really wore on me. I received so many compliments, and the high-quality fabric holds its structure beautifully. The back opening adds a sexy, flirty edge that balances the design. It fits true to size, though the arm openings are generous enough to size down if between sizes. I paired it with the Dunst balloon skirt (I have it in both black and white), and it looked amazing with both — such a standout, playful piece.

I read previous reviews about the back so proactively had my husband safety pin me and it was secure all night. I had to use boob tape on the girls to keep it looking cute.

I LOVED IT! Wore it to two separate events and people stopped me to admire it. Sexy but not overly revealing. Tighten the clasp in the back bc you will be bare underneath. 10/10!

I would love to buy this. Babies in my restaurant kept wanting to touch my shirt. I got so many compliments all night. Wore it twice and truly loved it. I see people complain about the clasp but you just need to get someone to close it tightly with pliers or something and then it won’t budge. So worth it.

Got so many compliments wearing this top to a cocktail bar in Mexico City! The top is unique and very striking, and one of those items that make sense to rent rather than buying. However, please note that the material is not breathable as it traps moisture to the skin. I wore it at night in May in CDMX, so it worked out for me, but I would definitely not wear it during the day where it’s sunny/hot.

Loved this top. It was a lot of fun for an evening party. The only issue was that the hook (the only thing that kept it closed), would come undone if you weren’t standing straight up. Overall, still a win!

This shirt is so cute and so so impractical. It is held together by a single hook and eye clip. My boyfriend had a heart attack as it came unfastened all over downtown Chicago (see photo). Keep your shoulders back, head high to avoid disaster!…or just pin it. I double safety pinned it by the clasp for the second wear and it was comfy and cool all night, though I was told it looked like I was wearing post it notes.

I wore this to a concert and dinner and received lots of compliments. It's very comfortable (no bra needed), truly unique, and fun. Do be careful if you bend over; the top is held at the top of the back by a single hook and eye closure which opens easily.

I've never had more compliments on a rental! Strangers stopped me to tell me how much they liked it. So easy to wear and style. I didn't think I'd feel so comfortable with an open back, but I loved everything about this. I'll be watching to see if this one goes on sale.
