Wanted a simple black dress that I could wear with a blazer and look professional for court

Just got a promotion, and this was the perfect dress to introduce myself to new clients. Great length, hides every bump. Runs a little small. I am usually a 14-16, they only had an 18 available and it fit like a glove. Perfect weight for summer!

Really loved the fit of this dress. Showed off my curves in all the right places. Ran a size small, glad I sized up based on reviews. The gold lock on the neckline is a little heavy and took some getting used to. Would rent this again if I needed a LBD.

I'm pretty sure this dress is navy but I had to pair with black accessories because that's all I had packed because the description says this dress is black. Either way, it's very tight and a bit too sexy for work.

Beautiful dress which I considered buying. I got tons of compliments. I gave it 4 stars because the collar does fall down, as others said. It is still beautiful, but would be nicer if it weren't for that.

I liked the idea of the neckline, but the clasp is heavy and the fabric is cheap, so it just falls. Sized up as usual for bodycon. Full hips. Ok for work. Nothing too great.

I'm short on the torso, so there was a little bunching in the back, but otherwise, this dress was extremely flattering for a fuller figure, and was well made so it smoothed over all my lumps and bumps really well.

a perfect work sheath. conservative but the detailing gives it personality. fabric is stretchy, quality is excellent. i generally wear a 16 - this fit but was body con on me. still appropriate for work, but wore my spanx with it and felt more comfortable. wore to meetings with congress, so will work for even the most conservative offices.

I really liked this dress. It received a lot of compliments at work. It looks very polished and the neck is an interesting detail. Fits very well, but the fabric has a bit of 'give' so it is quite forgiving, but a flattering fit too.

I go between a 10 and 12. This 12 was a bit snug

I love this dress, and it almost made its way into my closet. It is classic, yet just different enough. As long as an exposed back zipper works for your office, it is great even for a business formal environment. My supervisor did comment, "it's sexy, but in a good way."

This dress has a heavy fabric and hugged my body without being too clingy. I styled with black high heeled booties and big gold earrings. It was perfect for work; I got a lot of compliments. Great for hourglass figures.

Great quality fabric! The neck isn't as stiff as it appears in the pictures so it doesn't necessarily maintain a perfect shape at all times. Regardless, it is a classy and easy to wear piece.
