I typically wear a size 4. However, the only available size for this dress was 6, which is what I rented. I had no back up. That was unfortunate as the dress did not fit. The beading and intricacies were gorgeous, but there was no way any woman with a bust size bigger than A would fit, as you can see from the photo. I could possibly finish the zipper but I would have looked completely flat. The back was so beautiful it was breathtaking. Length was great to wear flats. the inside corset was uncomfortable - every inch. Sad it didn't work and that RTR could not offer any other size.

I have never worn a more beautiful dress, or received so many compliments. Elegant and unique, it is the dress of a lifetime. On size, I usually wear a 2 or a 4, depending on the designer, but in this dress, I wore a 6 for the first time in my life, so be extra careful when selecting a size.

This dress will only work if you are built like a stick. Any curves of any kind and it won't fit because it's very unforgiving. It actually is quite true to size unlike what some of the other reviewers indicated. But then again, if you have hips or boobs, it won't work for you. It has an internal corset and boning which are separately zipped and which required my husband's help. Then the exterior needs to be zipped as well. Again, the location of the zipper means you'll need help. I'm short the dress ended up looking quite formal, more like a gown for a black tie event and so ended up not wearing it. The photos do not do this dress justice. With the beading and cascading ruffle in the back the dress is stunning. If you're taller than 5'5", it will be more of a midi length, but it's definitely too dressy for something that specifies cocktail attire. Think black tie where you'll see men in tuxedos and women in long gowns and this dress will be a show-stopper.

I was so excited to wear this dress for a formal wedding. Upon receiving both the 4R & 6R, I was disappointed when trying on and the dress did not work. I am 5'10", 34A Bust, Athletic build and the 4R was too tight in the top of the dress and since my bust is on the smaller size it did not fill out all the detailing of the dress. Also, on the 4R the hip of the dress was slightly too large. The 6R was just too large all the way around. I guess with this dress you really have to have a tiny hourglass shape! It was so pretty! I wish it would have worked out.

Besides being incredibly pricey, the dress is extremely formal with a flourish on the back and runs very small. Ultimately it did not work for me.
