I LOVED this dress. I felt like it was made for me. The color was a beautiful deep indigo, the lace added so much elegance and paired perfectly with the classic satin. It was form fitting & unforgiving but not too uncomfortable. I got so many compliments on the dress, I really didn't want to give it back. The only downside was that the dress was delivered with a small tear along the side seam. I would recommend sizing up! Especially if you have a larger bust. I am small chested & the top portion & neck area felt tight. But overall, this was my favorite rental ever!

I'm a size 6. A 6 wasn't available at the store nor online. I tried a 2 in store and banked the 4 would fit. I ordered a 4 without a backup size, super nervous. It was tight as you can see from the photos so it runs semi to size semi small.

Dress does run small, I am usually a 6 and the 8 fit. The material is gorgeous and the dress is so comfortable. Received so many compliments and felt really beautiful. Couldn't have been happier with this dress.

This dress is extremely comfortable and light weight! The only con would be that it was really tight around the knees making it hard to walk in big steps.

This is the best Dress I've ever worn. It was fit for my body...its shaped me so well...it was the highlight of the night. I received compliments all night and also all women/men was in aww at this dress. I am so happy I found "Rent the Runway" I can't wait to order for more pieces. I rented this dress for my daughters christening. I am usualy a 6 but still had a lot of baby weight to loose so I wanted something that would look slimming . The dress k wore was a 10 so I guess u would either say it ran true to size or slightly small, I was prob between an 8 and 10 at the time . I wore spanx underneath and it worked out perfect. I loved the material of this dress and the lace detail.

Amazing dress with a perfect fit. Although the dress runs a tiny small - it's really only in the top. If you're small up top your normal size would work because there's plenty of give/stretch in the hip areas. I'm normally an 8 and the 10 was a perfect fit. The length was great! Nearly knee length on my curvy, 5'10" frame. The lace detail and rich color is beautiful! Tons of compliments. Loved it!

It's has a rich, gorgeous material. The lace accents are beautiful. The sides are stretchy for the perfect fit. I did order up a size because others noted that it ran a size small. Compliments all evening long.

A little tight around the neck and don't forget the zipper at the bottom!

A very form fitting and flattering silhouette. I absolutely love the color and lace detailing on the back and the sleeves. This dress certainly does run very small! I am typically a 0/2 and the 4 fit, but was quite tight in the upper body. If I were to place an order today I'd go with the 4 with a backup size 6. I would recommend sizing up 1-2 sizes and would not recommend this for larger bust sizes. Like many Catherine Deane styles, this dress has a built in bra which is amazing but makes it more difficult to fit up top. Additionally, this style has a bit of stretch at the hips, which does help with the fit in that area! At 5'7" it hit about knee length on me. This dress is great for a cocktail event or more formal wedding.

This dress came as a replacement for a replacement dress! The original dress I had hoped for wasn't available and the replacement one I chose didn't fit me. RTR stylists to the rescue! They overnighted me two fabulous options but as this one matched my purple hair and fit like a glove I went with this dress. I loved it! It is easily one of the nicest things I've ever worn and I felt truly amazing in it. I am a thrifty shopper overall and tried RTR on the recommendation of friends. I am so glad I did. It was worth the money I spent to wear something gorgeous for the night! So comfortable, I highly recommend this dress!

PRO: Very Elegant and Sexy. Classic look and the compliments will poor in. Gives great body shape in dress. CON: You can't really raise your arms high - slightly restricting due to sleeves cut.

The lace was just so pretty, I couldn't get over it. The colors were rich and sumptuous and the fabric was like butter. The size worked well, glad I didn't go smaller. There was a small tear in one of the seams when it arrived but it wasn't very noticeable. The lining underneath wasn't ripped and was the same color. I was probably the only one that noticed. Besides my little sister, she called me out on it...

This dress fits like a glove, close to bodycon. The detailing around the neck and shoulders is gorgeous. I would buy it.

This dress fits true to size. I'm an hourglass shape and felt very comfortable yet sexy in this dress. It's really chic, but still makes you feel like you have some extra oomph to your look. The knit sides ensure a comfortable fit, while the lace neckline and silk paneling really amp up the elegance. I would definitely rent this dress again, and felt gorgeous all night long.

I loved this dress. Very pretty neckline and the lacy area looks so feminine and pretty. If you are a true 8 with no hips, the size 8 will fit you perfectly. My one issue was the dress kept twisting on me as I moved thruout the evening. I had to keep adjusting it and that was annoying. Not sure why it did that either?

Pros: The dress was really flattering. The material is a little stretchier than I had anticipated, which was great. It hugged my body appropriately without showing every single bump or detail. The dress was true to size, and the material was gorgeous. Cons: The only challenge I had is that the dress was much darker in person than in the pictures. The picture shows a lavender colored dress, but I received a deep, deep purple. Still went great with my black accessories, but the color did not match what was pictured.

Beautiful dress! The lace detail at the top and the sleeves was my favorite part. A very dark midnight blue almost black. Fit was good - true to size - and the skirt came down to just below my knee. Only word of caution would be to wear spanx or choose undergarments very carefully as the satin material in the front isn't very forgiving.

I ended up wearing the back up size, which was a size up, but it fit like a glove and made my curves look great. My only issue with the dress was that I had to fuss with it a bit through the day as it would twist and bunch up on my body. Overall, it made me feel like a million bucks and I received several compliments.

Many of the reviews said this dress ran small. I took the advice and sized up. It was a mistake. It's actually true to size. Beautiful material and would definitely wear it if I had another chance. If you like this dress, you might also want to look at the Catherine Deane Zara Dress. Runs similar in size and also a beautiful choice.
