It showed off my legs and shoulders, and had pockets! I also wore this as a chaperone to a high school prom. Everyone complimented the dress. The fit was perfect, true to size. It is short, but not inappropriate. I’ve rented this dress twice and hope I can get it again.

This dress was overnighted to me as a back up dress and I like it even better than the one I had originally picked out! The dress fit true to size. It had pockets and was easy to dance in! I don't have one complaint about this dress. I love how it fit snugly around the waist area and was an A line dress so went out towards the knees. I was told I looked like Jackie Kennedy, it had vintage vibe to it.

Loves the neckline of this dress. The colors were also beautiful and vibrant. This dress fell about mid thigh which is great because usually short dresses are always way longer on me. I love how the skirt puffed out and made my waist feel tiny. Would be great for any semi formal event.

I got this dress as a backup from a past event and ended up not wearing it but when I tried it on, it fitted great. There is a built in structure that help to hold everything in. So the next event, I made it my priority to pick this dress for the wedding. The off the shoulder top made it sexy and trendy, the fabric was also a nice quality. Also, pockets in the skirt! I may buy this dress if I find it anywhere or if it goes on sale here :)

Flattering fit, heavier fabric makes you feels secure and held in. Arm movement a bit limited but the cut of the sleeves is so pretty.

I wore this dress to a fall wedding on the beach in Florida and it was the perfect choice for that occasion as the jewel tones of the print made it appropriate for the season. It's difficult to tell from the pictures, but the dress is actually both black and navy depending on the lighting as it's a fabric with bit of a sheen. I chose to pair the dress with neutral metallic gold shoes/accessories. I loved the fact that it has pockets, too, and the length was perfect on my 5' frame. I would say it runs small as I'm normally a 6 but wore the 8 and even that was a bit snug (and I didn't wear a bra because it was too tight for my DDs with a bra...the good news is that the fabric is thick and everything was well supported as I danced throughout the night)! As others have said, arm mobility is limited in the dress so don't expect to do the YMCA dance while wearing it! Ha! Overall, beautiful choice and flattering cut!

I wore for a fall outdoor/indoor casual wedding so the thicker material was perfect. You could easily dress this up with accessories/shoes to wear for a more formal event. I received a lot of compliments and the embroidery detail was beautiful. Bonus...it has pockets!

The top was a little tight due to having a larger chest. These off the shoulder dresses are so cute, but it definitely restricts your arms. Don't plan on doing the YMCA at any weddings if you wear this dress!

This was a beautiful dress that I wore to a beach wedding (with reception being indoors). I got so many compliments on it! I loved the off the shoulder aspect of the dress. The dress poofs out a little right under the waist, which I wasn't expecting, but it was still a beautiful fit.

The dress was great. The only issue I had with it is that it was tight up top but a bit loose in the hips and tummy. but in general it still looked stunning.

The dress ran a little small. I am almost always a size 6 but thankfully went up a size for my extra dress and the 8 was perfect. It was fitted in the bodice so for me I think it was my 34D chest that kept the 6 from working. It is definitely on the shorter side but I am 5'10 and it was totally appropriate. The material is on the more formal/cocktail side but it worked great for the beachy rehearsal dinner we went to.. I was in the bridal party so I wanted to be a bit more formal than the venue required. I dressed it down but it could definitely be dressed up with fancier heels and more jewelry!

This is a great dress for hourglass figures. It's tight around the ribs and then flares out. The material is very thick, which can hide a lot (no spanx!) and also kept its shape all night. One thing is this dress is very short. I'm 5'9" and was showing a lot of leg. Also, the shoulder straps makes it impossible to lift your arms all the way. I was doing a lot of T-Rex dance moves. Was seriously tempted to keep this dress forever! A winner.

I wore this dress to a college formal event. The dress was tight on my shoulders, as it is an off the shoulder style. I would not recommend for an event that requires lots of movement!

I don't have a great photo of this darling dress, but it did fit well and was true to size. It was right across the shoulders. I'd recommend more for a rehearsal dinner or other non-dancing event since it would be hard to lift your arms or avoid flashing people

I rented this for an outdoor wedding and it was absolutely beautiful. The 2 was a little tight so I wore the 4 just to be comfortable, however it was a bit long. I received many compliment and it was the perfect dress for a formal event!

I loved this dress! The colors are absolutely gorgeous and I loved the fit. It was supportive up top so I didn't need to wear a bra but flares out in a cute tea cup style so it hid my tummy which is a problem area for me. The off the shoulders gave a really nice touch, every one loved it! My only con for this dress (which is why I couldn't give it 5 stars) would be that the sleeves were constricting, I wasn't able to lift my arms over my head but other than that I would say it was perfect!

Dress is short, flirty, has lots of structure through the waist and chest, and has a very romantic "off the shoulder" look. Why not 5 stars you ask? The sleeves are so tight that they impede free movement. Great dress - unless you need to lift your arms above your chest.

Age 30 & over advice: I had to size up A LOT for this dress. I'm normally a 6 in designer dresses - sometimes a size 8 lately (5'3", 135 lbs), but this 8 was too tight to zip up the back (I have broad shoulders). The 10 was fine (a bit big in the tummy/shoulders), but better than too tight. It was super cute & everyone loved it, but I had to order two orders to get the size I needed.

Another great rental. Received a ton of compliments and LOVED the fit of this dress with the little off the shoulder detail and pockets. I wore this for a wedding at the end of September and the colors on the dress were perfect for the start of the fall season. I will say as others did that the sleeves are super restricting. I actually ripped one of the sleeves a little at the end of the night when I lifted my arm too much so just be conscious of that when you rent this dress. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

Well, let's start off with what is amazing. This dress has pockets. I rented this as my back up dress, or really "I'm feeling too fat for my bodycon dress". However, this dress didn't even get packed---I couldn't raise my arms up higher than a zombie could, which was not ideal for a fun dancing wedding. I loved the boning in the dress and while it did take a struggle to get myself into it by myself, it look great, just not great for this event.

Cynthia Rowley Off Shoulder Shimmer Leaf Dress is a great dress to wear at an autumn gathering it looks clic and has a playful look it's off the shoulder cap sleeve and to is to the knee with pockets on both sides. It is a little wide at the hips for me but fit well across the chest. The dress has a hidden back zipper with an eye-hook closure. This dress would go for a person who is tall or petite and even for someone who is hippy. I would need to downsize in this dress.

It looks a lot more amazing than it does from the pictures. Length is shorter than other dresses which I personally prefer. Loved the material.

I love the colors in this - the navy background looks great with the turquoise leaves. The fabric is of very high quality and hangs nicely, keeps its shape. The slightly off-the-shoulder look was fun and flirty, just FYI - this element does restrict arm movement somewhat. I could still use my arms but couldn't raise them up over my head. So maybe not a good choice if you're going out dancing. Other than that - great dress and lots of compliments.

Unfortunately, this did not fit. I have a couple of Cynthia dresses, size 6. I could not get the 8 to zip up to the top. This dress is cut differently, and I have a large bust, so that was likely the issue. It was beautiful in person, great quality. I was so sad I couldn't wear it.

Great dress, loved the way it fit my waist. A little snug on top and tight in the arms as other reviews have said. I didn't need a bra with it so I didn't mind how snug it was on top. Definitely runs short and I am only 5'2" but it was fine. Lots of compliments for a Sunday brunch wedding!
