This is one of those dresses that you have to see "on". The panel in the front is actually cut like an hour-glass in the center which makes your waist seem smaller--really nice. The fabric is very soft, yet holds you in at the same time. I wore a "0" although I could have done the "2" for an easier time sitting and/or dancing. The arm holes were small, but it didn't bother me. I would proceed with caution if you are busty. It was my alternate dress, and a nice surprise. PS: I'm little on top and hippy on the bottom.

This dress was soo adorable and looked perfect on me. I had this and another dress that I wanted to wear for preference night for sorority recruitment but I chose the other one. My only concern with this dress was that the sleeve holes were too tight on me, but other than that great dress, great fit. Loved it :)

The dress was beautiful, great fitting, except for the top. The arm holes were very small, and the top was not flattering at all for someone with a large bust. For a smaller chested girl this would be a beautiful dress.

This dress is what I hoped for - understated elegance. I wore it to a pre-Emmys party (as in Jane Lynch was there) and felt like I was dressed appropriately. The dress is really short (I am 5'9") - but I was the only one wishing for a few more inches on the dress, my friends thought it looked great. If you are in your 20s or 30s, don't worry about it (I am older than that). The armholes are tight, but it makes the dress fit nicely.

loved this dress! so flattering and a great shape. it's like a more interesting take on the LBD. great for a early evening cocktail party. and so so comfortable. i'm even considering renting it again!

I rented this dress and another from the same brand and wound up not wearing this one. My intention was to wear it on a date or night out in the city. Its a lovely dress, but feels much more appropriate for a cocktail party. The neckline and cute are a bit conservative, and the fabric is a bit thick, for anything else. (Caveat that if you are about 5 inches taller (the model is 5'10) this could work for a date or night out because the length would be closer to mid-thigh. One other note - I got the size 2, which fit fine, but the arm holes were cut a bit tight.

I cannot say enough great things about this dress! I got it as my backup and I ended up wearing this one instead. It is the most flattering dress ever! If you want to look like you have the tiniest waist ever this is the dress for you. I wore it in Vegas, and received so many compliments! The dress is comfortable too.

Pear beware! This dress is not flattering for those with a pear shape (and mine is not even extreme; I am 5'5 with 37" hips). It is also a boring dress for the price; no one would think it is an expensive dress. Believe me, I am somewhat conservative in my dress choices, but this dress just wasn't interesting. I chose the Helmut Lang abstract mini dress over this one. It balanced my figure AND looked very unique/cool.
