Glad I got a Medium. I'm on the small medium sup, but the boning made it hard to zip even though there was plenty of room. Got lots of compliments.

This dress is gorgeous- it has a strange piece of extra fabric that can puff out a belly - but still just stunning. I loved it!

I wore this as an emergency backup to my brother’s wedding and he specifically took time out of his reception to tell me “your dress is tea” 🤣 I’m usually a pretty classic medium, but thanks to other reviewers comments I did size up to large and it fit me perfectly on bottom with room up top, not necessarily in the bust but there was slight gapping in the back (likely only noticeable to me). For reference I’m very classic petite pear shaped, a little over 5 feet tall with a big booty and hips, shorter torso and smaller waist. I also have a small mom pooch, and the slight extra fabric in front in that area was perfect for me to be able to adjust to cover that up! The off the shoulder detail was also flattering and for someone more insecure about my arms, I liked that there was a little coverage. The fabric was weighted which gave a flattering effect and has a slight shimmer without the glitter or rhinestones. Would definitely buy if I thought I’d have more occasions to wear it! The dress even for me with heels was a little short so if you’re tall you will definitely want the long version. I’m glad the petite length wasn’t available or it would have been too short for me.

My original dress I had reserved for this black tie wedding became unavailable the day before it was supposed to arrive. Everyone at RTR was super helpful and generous. I last minute rented 2 styles and this one was an absolute HIT! I got an unreal amount of compliments and felt like a princess. It’s definitely stiff and a bit hard to walk/dance in but it was worth it in my opinion! Also a bit of extra weird fabric on the belly, but no biggie. So glad this backup style worked out. (I think I like it more than the dress I was originally supposed to wear).

LOVED this for a friends wedding. Fit perfectly in every way. Didn’t need to wear a bra as boning was sturdy. Length was great with heels. Slight annoyance was the pleating around the middle did look a little odd from the side but honestly it meant I could eat more at the wedding

I’m 117# and based on reviews I thought an extra small would fit. If I lost 5 pounds and removed two ribs it still wouldn’t fit. I rented this for a gala and the small was not available. I wish I could have worn this dress.

Needed a formal dress for a wedding in Charleston and this was IT! Fit like a glove and was super comfortable just small range of motion walking /dancing since it's a stiff material. Which I figured. Chest has great boning so no bra was needed even though I'm 36D/DD and they're super heavy/mom boobs.

This truly is a beautiful dress. I love gowns that feel rich in material and structured. This is it. There’s absolutely no give … Size up! I’m about 150 pounds. I probably could’ve gone down a size, but I felt comfortable and glamorous. lol!

Runs very small, ordered my size and it didn’t fit so had to go up a size.

Beautiful fabric and very well made dress. Fit me great in the hips but definitely did not have the bust to fill it out. Straps are a bit confining as well.

I loved this dress so much but it was not super ideal for a girl who loves to be on the dance floor at weddings! I couldn’t lift my arms over my head and the corset made it a little bit harder to breathe but all in all I would still rent it again! I got so many compliments and felt it was great for a black tie event.

Glad I got the medium. Size up if you have a larger rib cage. The structure of this is cool. I didn’t realize it had a train and wore heels at 5’9” so I think it looked short from the back- but looked good from the front

Sized up from XS (couldn’t zip it) to S which is a full size larger then my usual. The small was pretty but incredibly stiff - hard to dance / sit etc

Beautiful dress if you can get the right fit. I’m a 28 Jean size, small top, typically wear a 4/6 in dresses. Had to go with the Large for a walkable fit through the hips. Top half was way too big so I used fashion tape to secure the front and back to my skin to prevent gaping. It worked! Wore flats with LR at 5’8”

This dress is stunning. I wore it to a summer formal coastal wedding. I was kind of surprised it has boning in the chest of the dress that gives it structure and support. I did not need have to wear a bra and still felt supported which was great. It is also VERY thick which was great for a late summer wedding but could be warm in peak summer or warmer climates. I received so many compliments and opted for a slick back look to really highlight the collar bones. The only reason I didn’t give the dress five stars is because the off the shoulder straps make it hard to comfortably move your arms and it is sort of tight for dancing but walking around is not problem. It fit me perfectly, definitely rent it!

Loved this dress! It wasn't quite right for my occasion but it was just gorgeous! It was a little tight I would love to rent it again but a side larger.

But didnt fit me at all. Other women with similar height / weight indicated the XS should fit but it was too slim in the hips and about a foot too long.

I’m an athletic pear shape, normally a 2 in dresses, 4 in pants and based on the reviews I got a M. It was too big on the top AND the bottom. It’s got a built in corset to snatch you and I think maybe that’s why people are saying to size up? Just get your normal dress size. It’s a gorgeous dress.
