The reviews are right, it runs big. The 2 fit fine, and the dress was really pretty! The top was very tight and supportive. :) great dress!!

I wore this to an indian wedding and I received tons of compliments! It was easy to move in, eat in, and most importantly dance in! The fit was true (at least in my case) and it was a little snug in the chest area which is awesome since I didn't have to tug at it all night!

The size 0 was more flattering but felt a little constricting. Given that I was wearing the dress to a wedding, I wanted to be able to eat and dance without discomfort, so I ended up wearing the 2 (and am glad I did). I received many compliments; it's a great dress.

Definitely snug around the ribcage, but a more flattering fit than the 2, which felt too big. The 0 had just enough fabric to make me look and feel confident wearing my first RTR dress!!

Rented this for a friend's wedding and loved it. The color was beautiful and it was very comfortable all night.

I rented both the 0 and 2. The zero looked very nice and trim on my waist but we could not get it zipped through the ripcage area. Maybe I have large ribs for my short stature! The 2 was a little loose in the waist but perfect through the ribs, just meant I didn't have to suck in my tummy all night, could relax a bit. I have a small B cup bust so I added a strapless bra to fill in the top a bit. The color looks more emerald green in bright sunlight but as the sun set and during the dinner, it seemed to have a more teal hue. The pockets were fantastic to hold my tissues while watching my brother get married. Something I didn't expect was the crinoline, had a bit more poofy effect than I expected but I thought it still looked fantastic. I received so many compliments. I would definitely recommend this dress!

I wore this dress as the Maid of Honor for my sister's wedding. It's a gorgeous piece. The material is exquisite quality. The flair at the waist line helps to hide flaws below that area. The pockets are perfect. (I carried the groom's ring in the pocket down the aisle). I was complimented all night and felt so pretty. I paired with a pair of Nine West Women's Fleance Wedge Sandal,Light Bronze Metallic and dangly earrings and matching necklace. Wish I could wear the ensemble again and again.

Zero complaints and love the pockets. Definitely make sure if you're busty you go up a size!

I wore this to my senior formal. I ordered a 0 and a 2 due to my hips, but this dress fit very well as a 0. There is plenty of room for the legs, great for dancing and moving around. I wore gold colored stiletto shoes, very small and thin, a gold bracelet and mismatching gold earrings. I debated whether or not to wear the necklace, but as I have short hair it's nice to have something there! This dress is great for girls like me with smaller waists but still a bit of a pear shape. There was even a strap inside the dress at the top to help hold it up! Although I did do some adjusting throughout the night, I didn't feel like it was a problem. Also ate a massive chinese food dinner right before leaving and still looked great!

This dress was AMAZING! I rented this dres on a whim as I was on RTR to rent a cocktail dress for a Mardi Gras party on Fri night when the site said I could rent a 2nd dress for $25. I had a friend's birthday party on Sat night and thought, why not! I'm so glad I did! This dress was beautiful. The color is stunning. Pictures truly do not do it justice. The pockets are really convenient. I was able to keep my phone and lipstick on me all night. The dress has an inner strap to keep it from falling. Although I did find myself tugging to keep "the girls" from falling out a few times. I would definitely recommend this dress to anyone looking for a great party dress.

I love everything about this dress. The color is gorgeous, it is a darker color than the online picture. It fit perfectly and looked great all night. The pockets were an extra nice feature- big enough for my phone and lipstick. It showed off my shoulders and hid my bigger hips.

Such a beautiful dress! I rented it for my sorority's formal and it was perfect! The fabric is much prettier in person when you can see the detail but unfortunately it doesn't come out as well in pictures. The 6 fit very well and I didn't have to keep tugging the dress up all night (this is usually a major issue for me). I also loved that the dress had pockets! Perfect for holding my phone and lipgloss and the way the skirt lays you couldn't even tell. I originally ordered this dress for the wrong date (woops...) and RTR was so helpful in getting it switched. Customer service was great and it was all so easy - I'll definitely be renting again soon!

The dress is gorgeous! A nice quality fabric and the color is stunning! I didn't get to wear it though, my breast are between a 34 D and DD and there was to much overflow out of the top of dress for me. It fit perfect everywhere else. I usually wear a 6 if there is some stretch or an 8 if not. There is no stretch is this dress. I would have needed a 10 to accommodate my chest. It came too late the day before the event for RTR to send another, I sent it back Saturday morning and they credited my account. I did wear the necklace I rented(pictured here) with a back up dress I ordered from Nordstrom.

This was my first rtr and will not be my last! I'm typically a size 8 but I wore the 10 to the event. The 8 was just a smidge too tight across the bust, which as a 36A cup isn't usually a problem. The 10 was a tad too big but didn't fall down despite many hours of dancing. One thing too note, the color is a bit greener than the model picture. I would describe it as more of a teal or a peacock blue. It doesn't have the silver blueness that some of the photos reflect. I loved the color though. It was perfect for a late summer early fall wedding. The material is nice and thick which hides any flaws. It might be a bit warm in hot summer months. The pockets were my favorite part! Overall I was very very happy with my rental!

When the original dress I rented for a friend's wedding didn't fit, I was able to talk to a specialist who was able to send this dress for the occasion. There weren't many options left, since it was so last minute, but this seemed like a great choice. Once I got it though, it was definitely a little more formal than I imagined it to be. Beautiful! Amazing color! And don't even get me started on the pockets! But definitely a little too formal for a outdoor summer wedding. (I think it's the tulle under the skirt that made it feel that way) Even so, it definitely worked out. I was comfortable and happy with the dress, the color was great and it was fun to dance in. As others have said, I had to spend most of the night yanking the top up, even though I went with the smaller size to keep that from happening! No need for a bra, it would have just been showing all night anyway. And, hey, I caught the bouquet so must have been good luck! I'd absolutely recommend this dress for a slightly fancier wedding, or any fancy dress occasion!

When I first got the dress I thought the tulle was a bit overused, but as I worked through it, it loosened up and fit less poofy and more shiek. The band in the chest helped to keep it up without constant adjustment. Comfortable and beautiful. I was happy. :)

This dress was perfect for the black tie optional event I went to. The oscar de la renta necklace totally made this look complete! The dress fit pretty good, a little loose in my waste. I don't have a big bust so I was pulling the dress up a lot. But overall comfortable!

This was my first Rent the Runway rental and the customer service is absolutely amazing! I received my dress (and the second size) two days earlier than planned and the size I chose (2) fit but the zipper didn't work. I emailed RTR the night I received the dresses and a stylist responded within 10 minutes and said that a new dress would arrive in two days. I got it right on time and it fit perfectly! I'm not one to normally do a strapless dress because I'm paranoid about it falling down but it stayed on all night, even during a long night of dancing! I got so many compliments! I will definitely use this site again it is awesome! Only reason I give it a 4 was because it was a little wrinkled at the bottom, but the textured material of the dress helped make it not very noticeable!

This dress was delightful. The 10 was a little large on me and the 8 was a little tight. I blame this on my body, not the dress. The color was perfect and everyone seemed to love it. Looking back, I would have worn the 8 to avoid hiking the dress up all night. Overall I was really happy with the rental.

Not a bad dress!! I did like it and I wore it for a holiday party. However it definitely wasn't my favorite. I ordered the size 2 and one size down, the 0 was definitely too small, but I felt like the 2 was a bit too big as well. I think I should have gone a size up. I did wear it and got tons of compliments on it, everyone loved it! But I felt very self-conscious in it, I felt like I was popping out and that it wouldn't stay up. I kept having to pull it up and I wasn't even dancing. I may have been more comfortable in the 4, but I also feel like it would have been too big. I'm sure my NYE dress will be better!!

I wore this to a black tie optional wedding . I loved the dress and the pockets. The one issue I found was that it kept slipping down and I had to pull it up. Some doubled sided tape would have fixed it, but I didn't have any!

I loved how this dress has these secret straps inside that really make it dance proof so you don't have to pull your dress up the entire evening. I had such a great experience using Rent the Runway and recommeneded it to all my friends. Definitely coming back again!

The fit was perfect- the top was snug on me, but I'm tinkerbell-shaped, so if you have a larger bust, you might need to size up. I'm 5'5'' and the length hit right above the knee. With sparkling earrings and gold shoes, I felt like the most stylish girl at the wedding (besides the bride, of course!)

I am in between sizes, so I was happy to be able to order 2 sizes. However, I underestimated myself and even the smaller of the two sizes was a bit too big -- when they say to order down, order down! I was able to make it work because of the fashion tape they sent me -- I danced the night away without any problems! Looking around on other sites, there are straps that can go with it, and those would have been nice to have. But, half way through the wedding, I found pockets! I got lots of complements; the color definitely popped. Also, my boyfriend was able to find a tie (which oddly enough he also rented) from Mens Warehouse. Although it was a bit too big, the fashion tape helped and I would definitely RTR again, even in this dress.

I actually wore the 6 last minute as the 4 was VERY tight around the ribs. I was pulling the dress up all night to cover my bra (which I ended up ditching just so it would stop peeking out). The boning in the chest was starting to poke through and scratched me most of the night but MAJOR props to RTR who's customer service took care of everything for me.

I ordered this for a wedding but it arrived with a rust colored stain right on the front which of course I did not realize until AFTER the ceremony/daylight conditions Thankfully I could run back to my room and change into my backup but I was sad to not be able to wear this dress as it had a fun fit and flare shape and had a nice tulle underskirt to really flare it out The color was also very pretty satin teal brocade, perfect for a fall night wedding I normally wear an 8 but based on others' reviews I got the 12 It had a very odd fit for a 12, as in it fit like a glove throughout --even across my back was nice and tight but the front of the dress just flopped open/the strapless bodice part had no structure so the top just unrolled/inverted and showed the rubber lining that is supposed to keep the dress up I managed to safety pin the death out of this dress to my strapless and make it work but I would say you need to have a very large full cup to fill this out yet a small waist/ribcage ie I'm a 32F and it was snug around my ribcage but completely loose across the fullness of my chest Either way I did not end up wearing this for the rest of the evening because of the unsightly stain :/

Threw on a cardigan for the church, really nice color and material. It traveled well too. Only issue was the chest area, where it was too tight to sneak a bra in, but loose enough to warrant that every-so-often tug upwards. Very comfortable otherwise.

I searched everywhere for a teal bridesmaid dress that wasn't too pricey and that I could possibly wear again. I didn't have much luck (teal is a surprisingly uncommon color, it seems) until I found this one on RTR! I was concerned that it would be too big on me, since other reviews said it ran a little large and while usually I'm an 8, I thought I might be a 6 in this dress. Nope. Solid 8. It fit to a tee, except it was a little bit loose around the bust (didn't surprise me; I have a small bust). My only wish was that it had come with either attachable straps or fashion tape to hold it up. Also, for some reason my bag came without the little ziptie thing, so I had to tie it with a string. Otherwise it was perfect!

This dress seemed to run a bit big on me. I normally wear a 4, but that was too big, even though I am a few pounds heavier than usual due to having twins a few months ago. That being said, this dress is pleated at the stomach, which hides a less-than-flat stomach very well! Was a good length, short enough to be cute but long enough to be appropriate.

RTR overnighted me this dress after my original rental didn't fit. It was a great replacement. Beautiful color, stayed up, easy to dance in, and you can wear a bra with it. I thought it would be a little too long, but the length was just right - a few inches above the knee. If you are full busted, you'll be showing a lot of cleavage, so the more modest length was necessary.

Great fabric and fits perfectly. Top didn't move too much and the skirt had POCKETS!! Genius.

This dress is beautiful! I wore it to a holiday cocktail party and received many compliments! The color is so vibrant. I also love the thickness of the material. It was a little small for me in the bust - I usually wear a size 2 and had to wear a size 4 in this dress. I didn't have any problems with it sliding down though even when I was dancing! "You look AMAZING," is what I heard all night long when I wore this dress to a December Wedding over the weekend. I normally wear an 8, but ordered the 10 and the 12 becuase I am carrying a few extra Thanksgiving pounds at the moment. The 10 fit, but I should have ordered the 8. I paired it with my Grandmother's mink stole and a chunky gold necklace and recieve so many compliments on the ensemble. This dress was perfect for a winter wedding, despite being strapless, the fabric is very heavy. The detail is subtle, but really makes an impact. While the color is slightly more green than the picture, it is still beautiful. AND it has pockets!!! I wish I owned this dress.
