Stretchy and thick material that kept me warm during an outdoor engagement shoot in windy SF!

I had a cocktail party to go to with coworkers, so I didn't want to be too risque - this dress fit the bill. Plus, it's winter and the material is super thick and warmer than a slinky dress. It hugs in all the right spots and flared just where it needed to. Great bright blue color - wish I could own it!

Wore to an office party with work people. The medium absolutely fit me - 5'11 with no boobs. The material is bouncy & spandexy & so forgiving. But I wore the Large to give me a little more length. Medium was just at my fingertips & because it was a work party, wanted to have it longer. Overall an amazing dress: comfortable. You could eat your guts out and not feel fat. Fun to dance in

No cons about this dress. This was for a late afternoon outdoor wedding in Arizona. It can be warm when the sun it up and a bit chilly when it goes down. The material is thick, so be prepared but perfect for this wedding. Love the zippers all around. It fits true to size. I'd rent this one again!

Fit is great for athletic bodies.

This dress is incredibly comfortable and is perfect for any body type. The material is thick and stretchy which allows any problem areas to be smoothed out. I found that I should have put my make up on and did my hair after putting on the dress, but like anything, it's fixable. The zippers at the bottom of the dress are adjustable to make the skirt fuller or show more skin. You can get away with a standard bra with this one which is always a great deal

Dress is a little tight on top, but I squeezed into it. Fabric is heavy- I don't recommend it for warmer weather. Everyone loved the zippers and the design. Note: I added a belt with a buckle for a little bit more emphasis at the waist.

Woah - I was so glad that the larger size was available. My typical size was so small I barely got it on and it was painful to get off. The material is stretchy but very constricting, if that makes sense. The material is also thick - making it nice for a winter photo shoot but would probably be a negative come summertime. I loved the zippers that went all around the skirt and allowed you to adjust how open it is along the skirt. So fun! I thought they were decorative only, but no - they are functional! The pattern pops nicely, especially in photos. Fun rental. Again, Opening Ceremony did not disappoint.

The dress was lovely and I got lots of compliments. I wore this to a hipster wedding in NYC, and then went out to a karaoke bar for the after party without needing to change. Overall, I had a great first experience with RTR and will most definitely be renting again! PROS: The skirt zippers did not ride up at all during the night (pro, since the zippers go ALL the way up if you want them to) and the dress was extremely comfortable and forgiving. I loved that the skirt kept its full structure throughout the night, and the material is stretchy (to get the dress on you slip it on over your head). Perfect weight for a fall wedding, it kept my body very warm and was still comfortable for dancing! CONS: I got the Medium as a back-up size, and although it fit was tighter like I would have preferred, the proportions didn't look right on me like the large did so I wore the large. This might be a tricky dress for a woman with a smaller bust. Also, the top part of the dress had some extra room, so I wore a leather jacket to cover some of the bagginess of the dress.

The fabric is thick and seemed sort of oddly... shaped/wavy/stretched? Not sure. This dress didn't look very flattering on me and I don't think I would wear it out. The back also kept hiking up so perhaps it was just too small for me :-( I'm glad the stylists had thrown some other fun options in the mix because my initial choice ended up being my least favorite of the three dresses I ordered that week!

This dress was very comfortable and ran true to size. Fit was perfect and material was thick and well made. I would definitely recommend this dress! Received many compliments.

It fits great on her. The only thing was that one of the skirt "panel" stuck out too much. Other than that it was a very cute fun dress.

This dress looks really great in photos, in my opinion it looks better in photos than it does in reality. It fits REALLY well, there are no zippers or anything, the fabric just stretches and you pull the dress over your head. The zippers in the skirt in the front and back are a fun little thing to play around with. The dress is really great in colder weather as well cause it's a pretty thick material. My main issue with the dress is the way the skirt flares out was almost too much. Like it NEVER lays flat against your sides. It's a little odd when you're wearing it, but that's why I say the dress photographs beautifully because it creates that illusion of the flared skirt and the tiny waist. I got a lot of compliments on the dress so I assume that's how it appears in reality, but I wasn't very comfortable with the extreme flare. I don't think I'll be renting this dress again. It's just not for me :)

Nice dress made of sturdy material that still moves with you. The zippers at the bottom are a cute touch, show as much leg as you want!

This dress fabric is thick and stretchy. It's a pull over dress, no back zipper. The 4 zippers in the skirt are functional. I liked this dress, but it wasn't my favorite.

This dress felt amazing, the zipper slits made it easy to wear day-to-night. The fabric felt great but it does hug your body & it kind of showed a little belly pouch. I got a ton of compliments on the color & stayed comfortable throughout the day. I would definitely rent this again but maybe hold off on tacos prior to wearing it.

I wish I had a better pic of the pattern - it is like a finger print. This dress is a very thick material - high quality, maybe knit? You can wear a normal bra. There are 4 zippers (2 front, 2 back) that you can choose the height of. The waist line of this dress is confusing, it looks like fit and flare in the pics, but depending on where the black band hits you, it can be a bit more like a drop waist. I still liked it, but it is something to be aware of if you have a short torso.

Heavy fabric - fit snugly in a good way. Wore for a work event so didn't take advantage of the zippers on the skirts (weird as they were). Not a wow dress - a little "ho hum" in person.

I rented this dress for the Friday events of this year's Breeder's Cup, and it was cute and flirty, while still being fashionable enough for the day. I wish I had been able to rent a backup size, but since I was renting another dress in two sizes for the weekend as well, I wasn't able to for free. I thought the small would be just fine, but when I pulled it out of the bag, it was comically small. It's a very stretchy material, but it squeezed parts of my body in ways that I didn't like. I almost didn't wear it, but my boyfriend convinced me it looked great. It ended up being comfortable to wear all day, as it stretched out while I was wearing it. I also had it paired with a short leather jacket for the chilly day, so I felt more covered up and comfortable! I loved that you could adjust the zippers on the skirt of the dress, it made the dress really fun to wear!

If I had known this was a dropped waist style dress, I never would have ordered it. However, I received tons of compliments on it and really enjoyed wearing it.

The stretchy yet firm fabric gives just the right shape! I was very comfortable wearing this to work and then transitioning to an evening night out.

As a tall girl, I was worried the medium would be too short but it was the perfect length! I danced all night without any problems. It's a stretchy fabric, so it was nice not to worry about the constraints of a zipper. I paired this with a black leather jacket, black tights, and some ankle boots.

I ordered a Small with the Medium as backup (I normally wear a size 4), but the material fit like a comfortable wetsuit - It was very thick, tight material, but stretchy. So, I ended up wearing the Medium as that gave me a little more flexibility without being bulky. I recommend ordering your backup 1 size larger, just in case. There's no zipper in the back, so it was difficult to get on and off without messing up hair/makeup, so I recommend putting the dress on and then fixing your makeup and hair. The zippers on the skirt gave it a cool, edgy look, and I paired it with ankle boots and a cuff bracelet. I typically don't wear fancy dresses, so this fit my style perfectly. I also received lots of compliments on the dress. I wore this to an office Holiday party that listed "business formal" and while the other dresses varied in fanciness, I felt like this dress fit in just fine and the added bonus was that I was comfortable! It wasn't too short to be around co-workers either. Overall, I would highly recommend this dress if you have an edgier style with an eye towards comfort.

Very comfortable. Non-wrinkle fabric. The fabric was a bit heavy for Florida. Zippers stayed in place after hours of dancing.

I wore this to my brother's wedding on New Years Eve. The fabric is thicker, which was nice for a winter wedding, and it was comfortable enough to wear for the entire day (including the 6 hour reception). Although the medium fit me well everywhere else, I wore a size up to make the skirt fall more flatteringly over my hips.

I usually wear a 10 and the medium was just a little too tight. The large was a bit too large.

Wore this dress for a more causal night with my friends to celebrate my birthday party. It bunched up on me a little around the back but other than that loved the dress and it was perfect for the night.

The dress was very stretchy so had a lot of give. I ended up wearing the medium because the top was a bit tight. Would have looked fine, I was just more comfortable in the M. I'm more of an apple shape and this was a bit big on the bottom. Would be great for a pear shaped lady. Material felt heavy and great.

This dress was very cute, I got a lot of compliments on it. I loved the color and pattern, but the fit was off for me. I am petite, and the top was too large. The waist didn't fall in the right place, there were a few bulges of material at the waist line, and the material bulged at the armhole so that my bra would have been showing if I hadn't worn a little jacket. I think this would fit really well on a taller woman, the size was pretty accurate aside from my problems with the top. The material was thick, in a good way for a casual Fall wedding. There is no zipper and the waist and top are meant to be form-fitting, so it was a little bit of a tight squeeze to get on and off. Also, I could have used some Spanx for the waistline if I hadn't worn a jacket. Overall, this was a cute dress with a unique pattern but meant for a taller woman.

I'm typically a size 4-6. This dress was unbearably tight and uncomfortable. I would probably rent the M , but it was still crazy short on me. Not recommended for tall people. Other notes, the fabric was thick and sturdy.

I rented this in the L and the M - I'm usually between a M and L in Opening Ceremony's stretchy stuff as I own a few pieces. In this dress I was a L, but the fit was just really unflattering. I'm pretty tall, with an average length torso, but the waistband on this dress a) didn't hit my natural waist (it hit about 3-4 inches below) and b) the waistband is about 2-3 inches tall, so it sort of engulfed my waist and brought attention to the areas where my waist widens versus just nipping in at the waist in a flattering way. The material is incredible and the print is beautiful, I just wouldn't recommend this unless you have a longer torso and a very defined waist! And despite being structurally sound, the material is not the type to suck you in - it's comfortable but it has a lot of give, so if you want that Herve Leger suck-you-in effect, you can probably comfortably size down.
