The fit was perfect!

This dress fit perfectly. True to size, I'm 5 foot 5 and with heels it was fine. Hugged my curves in all the right places and was stunning.

Fit well, but it bunched up a lot around the waist and I spent the night making sure everything was flesh on my body and the dress wrinkled really bad and I couldn't wear a bra with it because of the fit (it was tight enough so I didn't have to anyway). The length was perfect with heels. Perfect for my Junior prom.

I had some issues with my first and second choice dresses. First, RTR informed me the back-up size for my first dress was suddenly not available the day before delivery. Then UPS did not leave the dress despite the "no signature required" policy. So RTR very generously offered me a free second choice shipped overnight. Unfortunately, due to the high volume for Mother's Day, this second choice dress did not arrive until Monday after my event. Since my first choice did end up fitting, I did not need to wear this lovely dress. Although this dress is gorgeous and true to size, I did not fit into the top despite wearing a padded strapless bra. I think you can see it gapping in the photo. It is a hook closure on the neck, so you can't tighten It further. The dress fit well otherwise and with 3 inch heels it almost skimmed the floor. The rich fabric hugs your body without feeling tight. Despite the delivery issues, I was pleased with my RTR experience. They tried their best to accommodate me, and frankly my issues were with UPS. The quick response of customer service, the packaging, extra small gifts, and the ease of returns made it worth it. Will definitely use again!

I did not end up wearing this dress. The fit of this dress is awkward. Trust all the reviewers who mention the weird neck. It does not fit properly and bulges. I found that no amount of tightening or fiddling would fix it. The material bulged on the sides under the arms and wrinkled unattractively down the front. It might be better for someone with a D+ cup size but this was not flattering on me. I've attached pictures to illustrate the issues.

Beautiful dress. Great detailing in the seams and the fabric was very nice. Felt wonderful in it!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to wear this dress, but wanted to say that Rent the Runway has amazing Customer Service! UPS stated that they dropped the dress off, but I never got it. I needed it for Saturday and didn't get it until late Monday night. Not sure what happened, but the Reps at Rent the Runway did everything they could to send me a new dress. Long story short, I think Rent the Runway has top quality employees. Thanks for caring about me and my night!

I received this dress as back up. I was not excited about it because I felt the quality of the dress looked poor in the online image. I was THRILLED to be proven wrong. The fabric was high quality and the dress fit like a glove. I received many compliments and actually got pulled out of the audience and brought on stage at the ballet I was attending. It was the dress! Stunning fit and dark lush color.

The picture does not do this dress justice - the red is gorgeous & deep! I opted for the 42R since the material was more fitted around my hips than the picture seems. I am very pear-shaped, so the bottom portion of the dress ended up being completely fitted around my butt/hips. The top fit well but it's definitely hard to wear a bra with since the back scoops a little lower than a usual bra line. I ended up buying one of those gel stick-on bras with the front closure & open back since there was no way I was going bra-less in this dress. The fabric shows a lot, so you may want to wear spanx or smoothers if you have curvier areas like me. If you have any kind of a womanly figure, this dress will look very sensual (not overtly sexy though!) simply because the fabric really shows off your body.

I didn't originally see this dress when I was looking for a rental to wear to a wedding. Serendipity would have it that I would need a replacement dress because my original order didn't fit and chanced up this piece. The material and color is beautiful, but you will definitely need to steam this dress before wearing because it wrinkles very quickly and easily. I didn't wear a bra, but I did invest in some spanx because this dress is not forgiving, it will call out every lump and bump you've got. I think RTR might have gone in and added some additional buttons so you could adjust the neck straps. While I'm sad I forgot to get photos in the dress, I am very happy that this is the one I ended up with. Thanks again, RTR for the help!

I would recommend this for anyone! Just be sure to tie the halter the right way.

First, I want to say the color is a deeper red than shown, but it's a beautiful color. I originally rented the 38R and 40L (the lengths were VERY close), but both were too small. Luckily the wonderful customer service at RTR overnighted me a 42 (don't remember if it was L or R). It fit better but was still tighter than I would have liked. This is not a dress for women with larger hips--there is NO stretch at all to the fabric and SPANX can only do so much! I'm a seamstress so I loved all the intricate seams, but from a distance, it looked like just another red halter dress. Unfortunately, for me, it just didn't have that "wow" factor I was hoping for.

This dress was darker than in the picture, but still a very nice wine color. The top was loose on me and I tried dress tape to keep it held up, but that didn't work. I wish there was one more tighter set of hooks on the neck strap because the sides of my bra kept showing due to the extra fabric. It was very flattering though, and comfortable all night. My advice is to order one size down because it is large in the bust and has a full bottom.

I ordered this as a backup dress. Luckily, the first choice fit because there was no way this dress would work for me. The top was much too loose and the length much too long. The material and color were beautiful, but the dress did not work for my frame.
