Forgiving and comfortable

I love this dress! I love the open back with a big velvet bow. It was very classy, but also a little come and get it. However, I feel like the way that the bowties in the middle if you have any bit of a soft belly or stomach, it can very easily make you look boxy. The shoulders as well I do have broad shoulders, and I felt like the shoulders were boxy. I love the dress and it was perfect for a fun vintage themed dinner event. However, I would not buy this dress.

Loved! Perfect length, overall comfortable. It is tight in the arm. Don’t recommend for the big chested girls. I have a small chest, used a slim sticky bra and just fit. Got many compliments. Can pair with any shoe or earrings. Many compliments. Would rent again!

This dress is an absolute STUNNER!! I have been renting with RTR since 2014 and this is my new favorite rental. It hurt to have to send this one back. Compliments on this all night at my firms holiday party. Rented the M and L. I’m 5’6”, 155 lbs, 34DD, normal pant size is an 8/10. M fit perfect! Like other reviewers have said, this is a little itchy. Definitely needed my husband to do the three small buttons in the back (at the neck) and tie the bow - would be hard to do yourself.

The dress was beautiful and so fun-- I got several complements from strangers. The color is great and the open back is a fun surprise. Despite the open back, the top felt very secure and I could go without a bra. That said, the weight began to pull on my neck by the end of the night and the sequins were very scratchy, especially under my arms and at the end of the sleeves. I would rent it again, but probably for a shorter event.

Wore to for a decades school fundraiser- went as the 1920’s. It was a VERY comfortable dress to wear. It did have some “scratchiness” (because of the sequins) to the inside of the upper arm but that only was an issue if you would move your arms along your body. The open back was classy, I used a low back style bra, it worked like a dream: it stayed hidden and I was supported. Sleeves were not puffy. The material was breathable and lite no issues with being to hot or cold or feeling like I was carrying another ten pounds. For us petite ladies the length was perfect in a three inch heel. I was very excited to find a longer dress that wasn’t too long. I have been renting with RTR for almost 10 years and this is by far my most favorite dress.

Went to a themed party, 1930s/Peaky Blinders. So much fun to dress this up to match the theme. Fits true to size. I would order it again. Would be great for a Holiday party!

I was skeptical about this dress - my normal size (small) wasnt available the weekend I wanted it, so I went with an XS (almost could work, but alas could not breathe or move arms), and Medium. I wore the medium, but was slightly uncomfortable with how low the back was given the extra sag in fabric since it was a bit big. This is a no bra/no undies/no shapewear dress. Given all of that, this dress STOLE THE SHOW. I absolutely loved it and considered buying it. Compliments all night, and terrific for dancing.

This dress was the perfect amount of fun (sparkles!) and sexy (open back). It fit my curves beautifully and was super flattering. Perfect for a holiday party!

Wore this to a black tie holiday party and it was perfect! Ordered my true size and dress fit almost perfect. Sleeves were a little snug but I think that is more my mom arms than the dress. Sequins don't always photograph very flattering but I received tons of compliments on the dress in person.

I wore this for a NYE wedding and loved it. I am 5’ 4” and 155LBs. I am curvy on the bottom half but not big chested. The medium fit nicely throughout my waist and bottom half and my chest BUT the arms were a little tight. I managed and chose to wear the medium. The large was too large and the back didn’t look as good as in the medium.

This dress is a show stopper but it’s not very forgiving. There is no support in the front so wear a backless bra at your risk. And the low cut in the back means you can’t wear shape wear.

The fit was ok for my. It was too loose in the back area and too tight in the back and sleeves. I usually can’t wear cap sleeves because I have muscley arms. Wore it to a Great Gatsby ballet so it was very on team. Because the sleeves were too tight my arms were itchy.

Wore a few months postpartum and couldn’t have been happier with it. The tie in back makes it somewhat adjustable. Flattering and hid problem areas.

It fits correctly, so don’t size up. The back is impossible to tie by yourself. The tie backs are short so you have to do it in a special knot.

This dress was super fun and definitely an attention & compliment grabber. Loved it but taking a star off as I’ve got to be honest - it was itchy. I tried to ignore it - but if I’d had a plan B option I probably would’ve gone with it for that reason!

Fit perfectly for this pear-shaped person -- I think the tie in the back allows for a bit more of a custom fit, and I was really happy with how it looked. I would have kept it longer if I could have figured out a sweater to layer over it -- it was great for a holiday party and I think it could have also worked well as a skirt for more everyday to-dos.

This looked much better on than expected and was form fitting without being too tight. Cute dress for holiday parties!

The back is super flattering with the velvet tie, rainbow sparkles are always a good idea!
