I rented this as part of my unlimited subscription. It was excellent. If you carry your weight in your hips, you may want to take that into consideration, as there is no give. This was perfect for work. I am a marketing consultant. It was chic, yet not boring.

While the color says Maroon, it really appears as brown but a rich shade. The picture is not great as I had worn the dress all day for a work conference and after a 14 hour day I was a bit rumpled but still looked cute. I wore with a pair of suede tan booties and felt great. I got a ton of compliments and am considering purchasing. It was a tiny bit constricting in the chest, arm pit area so anyone larger than a D would not likely fit.

This dress could not have fit more perfectly, or been more comfortable. Beautifully made, fully lined. The color was great - it is a dark maroon, not bright, but it is not brown. I liked the subdued tone. I wore it for a full day of meetings and straight into cocktails and dinner on a business trip and it looked great the entire time. I was even still comfortable after eating too much at dinner. I am between sizes right now so went with the larger size and was stoked on the fit. I will definitely rent this again.

This dress fits nice. Not to tight but still have a figure. The only thing is the color! It says maroon but looks more brown. I took a poll through out the day and 95% said it looks brown. Still a lovely dress! Just don't expect maroon. Lol

Such a fun day at work with this dress

The fit is awesome as it covered those fatty places on my armpit. I'm 5,3 so the length was just past knee. It was great to wear to work. The color is a dark purple almost brown and everyone that complimented me talked about how they wanted to know the color as they don't ever see that color of dress. Made me look slim.

Loved this dress. Great material. True to size. I'm tall fall the average girl and this one was long on me.

Solid professional dress. Wore for conservative business meetings with a blazer and looked great without the blazer. Color is rich and warm. Fit was exactly what I like in a work dress. My only reservations are that the fabric is a bit thin (although it is lined) and it wrinkles fairly easily after a full day. I had sit lines at my waist and the back of my legs after a day of meetings and dinner.

I sized up on this order, based on other comments and boy was that a mistake. Other than a bit of extra fabric this dress was amazing. I loved the color, cut and structure (the only thing that kept me from looking like a sack of potatoes). I will definitely rent again, in the right size!

Great fit, lined, conservative dress perfect for my office

This dress was well-tailored and very flattering. It's not super showy, but I thought the color and cut made it classy and elegant. You can dress it up with some statement pieces or even wear it to work.

The fabric, look, and feel of this dress is amazing! I ordered a size 4 after reading the reviews and fit guidelines. The dress was too big. So, I sent it back and got a size 2. That fit perfectly. There is a lot of room in the waist/hip area. I could even do a 0 for a better fit in the waist, but then the dress would not fit in the bust/shoulders and it would be tight on my hips. I'm really happy with this dress. It's very professional. The fabric is lightweight and lays nicely. The color is a perfect muted maroon. This is a must-rent-again for important meetings.

This fit perfectly, true to size for Theory (size up 1ish from your regular size). Color is like a brownish/purple which is perfect for work because it is very neutral. Thin material is great for summer or warm fall weather. Going to be very tempted to purchase!

I really loved this dress and would have kept it longer, except the color is a bit dark for summer. It would be perfect for fall/winter. I liked the cut of the skirt and the neckline and found them both to be flattering. Get dress, well made, true to size.

I loved wearing this. It is a simple fall piece but it really makes a statement with it's tailored fit. The material is neither heavy nor light so it was great to wear into work!

The material wasn't as thick as I thought but the lightweight feel was a nice surprise! You'll have to iron it.

The fit is perfect for me. I have broad shoulders and a large ribcage with a narrow waste. The dress was very flattering and it wasn't too tight on top. The color is also nice with my tan.

Nothing negative to write about the fit--fit perfectly. Fabric is light, and even though the dress is pretty simple, the color adds an X factor. I got compliments all day and I would rent again!
