Definitely runs short, might need to size up! 

Very fun dress that brings out personalities! It’s easy to wear and have pockets. I love that it’s a button up and you can wear it as a cover up as well.

I'm 5'4" and it felt borderline too short. Very cute coverup though!

Absolutely loved this dress! I was torn between a 10 and 12, went with the 12 and probably could have sized down to the 10.  Since it has a tie at the waist it was easy to adjust and I got so many compliments on it!

This felt like the perfect dress for Spain! Not my normal style, but wanted something different for Europe.

I LOVE this dress! I wore it twice during my rental period. I struggle with short dresses because they're often too short but the length on this was good. It was such a fun print and I got a lot of compliments. Regret not buying it.

I'm sorry for holding onto this dress - but it's a staple. Easy to tie tighter or looser so I suggest sizing down. Linen is good for high-heat days and is a moderate length (I have long legs and am 5'5). 

Wore this as a pool coverup and received so many compliments! The color/pattern is sooo fun. The linen fabric is breathable, not too tight, but you could size up if you want more oversized look. Oh and the best part, tall girl approved!

Love all alemais pieces - their linen is beautiful although a bit heavy/stiff. I took my normal size but would have been happy with one size bigger for length/less form fitting. All in all, great summer dress (although it does wrinkle!). Follow @mgm_styles for more RTR reviews. 

The fit, color, length, and style of the cover-up were all perfect for a bathing suit.

I got more compliments on this then on anything else I've worn this year. The linen was breathable and comfortable, and the print meant that the wrinkles were not as distracting. Would have bought it in a second if it were not $500.

I was pleasantly surprised with this Alémais dress. It’s bright, colorful, and perfect for vacation. You can dress it up or down. I was concerned it was going to be too short, but it was just right. It’s linen so it does wrinkle easily, but it’s a fun dress! It’s a chill luxurious piece. 

This dress was great! Super comfortable but still elevated and flattering. Definitely recommend anything from this brand!

Beautiful linen, should be an easy loose dress but I was impatient and rented a size too small (you can see how it bunches on me). I'm 137, 26D, and 5'5". I still love the dress and recommend it for a fun holiday look! Love all of alemais stuff, beautiful qualify and puts me in the vacay mood. 

Great fit, I sized up to a 12 and am normally a 6-8 in dresses so it would be loose on me but I tied the waist tight with a belt. I am only 5’4 and it was well above my knees, so size up if you’re concerned about length. I wore it to a pool party that turned into an unintentionally long 7 hour travel day and it was comfortable in the 90 degree weather. Got compliments and it has pockets so it was a win win! 


loved this dress so much, I bought a new one from the brand. yes to the cut and weight of the material (100% linen); it was perfect to commute to the office in and then dress up for drinks after work. 


Wore them on a beach vacation. Perfect thick linen that is both breezy and light. Loved the print. Works great as a cover up a dress. The waistband cinches you in perfectly. Might be a bit short for some. 

RTR didn't have my size, so I sized up, but the belt made it forgiving and it wasn't baggy. A friend of mine who makes her own clothing was raving about the pattern and the cut. It's a really casual yet sleek piece and was perfect for date night in SoFl.

I wish I had a better picture taken because this dress was such a great vacation piece. Fits great and lots of fun flare. 

So many compliments. I think sizing up is best bet here. 

I love this linen dress. I wore it several times throughout my trip. To the beach, lunch and spa. It’s easy to throw on whether it’s left open with your swimsuit or buttoned up. It works well w flats and heels. The belt is attached to one side so it doesn’t slide off. Considered buying!

Not my first time renting! Great dress. Material is a little starchy but not itchy. A thicker linen. Little on the shorter side. So size or fit issues.

I really wanted to like this and was hoping to bring it on vacation with me, but this was too short on me! If I bent over, you could see way too much! 

Or this to a friends bridal shower. Overall, the dress is just really big and a bit shapeless. Print is really pretty and it was comfortable to wear, but would definitely size down at least two sizes

Easy to wear though it seems a tad short (was fine for me as I’m petite but it might seem short on taller ladies)
