My first impression on taking the dress out of the bag was that the material was more shimmery, almost Christmasy, than I'd expected, and I worried it might be off for a May wedding. But the fit is so fun and bold that once I put it on I felt amazing. It was perfect for an unseasonably cool and rainy spring city wedding with a creative dress code. I could move easily and everything stayed put. I loved this dress and got so many compliments on it!

This dress was great for an outdoor summer wedding. The fabric was stretchy and comfortable and the color made me feel like sunshine. I ordered both the 6 and 8, and the 6 wasn't available so I ended up only having the 8 to try on but I think it was good to size up. The dress clings to every curve so I appreciated having a little more wiggle room for comfort. The fabric is also pretty thin so I made sure to wear nude-colored underwear. I liked that the dress paired well with heels but also sneakers, as I had to walk a ways to reach the venue.

This dress came as the backup style after my original choice was unavailable. I was pretty bummed that I didn't get to wear my first pick, but I ended up really liking this look. The fabric itself is gorgeous, and the heavy weight of the lace was great for a November wedding. The sleeves hit just the right spot on my wrists, the length was good, and I liked how it fit around my waist and hips. The fit on top was a little less great since I have a small chest and somewhat broad shoulders. This style doesn't really allow for a bra or other padding, so the fabric was a bit loose around the chest (though thick enough to provide coverage). The shoulders were a little snug, too, so I couldn't really raise my arms above my head while dancing, but I think I would have had that issue with any long-sleeved dress. Overall, I loved how it looked, but wish I could have worn a style with a little more movement to it.
