I ordered this as my backup but alas, it's a lot of material with lots of flow, and going a size larger didn't work out well. Order a size down. It's a wrap dress, so it will be forgiving. Also, if you want to blend, this isn't the right dress for you. It demands big accessories, great hair, in point makeup, the works. Otherwise the dress will wear you. It's bold.

It's a really lovely dress but because I've recently gone up a few sizes and my experience with RTR is that the dresses run small, I ordered a size up and did the same with my backup dress. Big mistake. I know this dress would have looked great if I had ordered the correct size. Lovely material and beautifully made.

I needed a dress for my daughter's first Birthday Ball with her unit that was elegant, somewhat conservative, covered my extensive collection of tattoos (not the topic I wanted to discuss that evening), but wasn't dowdy. This dress could not have been more perfect. It defines elegance in it's cut, choice of fabric, and design. The weight of the fabric ensures it flows and gravity keeps it in place. With the right undergarments, I literally stepped into this, zipped it up and felt positively regal. I'm a true size 6 and this was a bit snug, which was plus in order to keep my chest where it needed to be and avoid any spilling out. There's a fine line between a touch of sexy and sloppy boobs everywhere with a chest my size but with the right underpinnings, the former is easily achieved. On a side note, order a size up for your secondary if this is your choice. I think an 8 may have been even better but the 6 was fantastic. This was my first experience with RTR and it was a home run. My daughter was proud, my husband was wowed, and I felt comfortable and confident wearing this. Thank you RTR!
