I’m 5’9” and skinny and had to wear the 4 instead of the 2 because of length. The 4 was a little baggy in the waist, hips and legs. This is a cute jumper, but if you’re tall you also need some curves to fill it out.

This dress was really cute (I wore it to a baby shower) but my one gripe was the arm holes were tight and no matter what made my armpit skin bulge out, I had to keep fiddling with the sides of the dress (everyone said it looked fine, but it was kinda uncomfortable). I would have gone up a size but then it would have been way too loose in the waist and rest of the dress.

This shirt is so flattering, it hides every part of your arms except the skinny part of your shoulder/collarbone and is loose but doesn't look like you're trying to hide your tummy. It was a little short for me but I just wore with high waist jeans (but I am 5'9" and only the XS was available).

I am usually a 0 or a 2- this one I wore the 2 because the 0 was a bit tight in my hips. However the 0 fit better around my waist. This dress doesn't have a very womanly cut. Would not work for very curvy girls.

I liked this dress BUT it's very tight around the waist. The side panels sort of squeeze your fat/skin and the side zipper sticks out so you might want to go up a size. I own a size 4 Elizabeth and James dress and I fit into this dress in a small, but wish I ordered a medium as my backup instead of an XS. A medium may have been more flattering.

i would order your "backup size" a size smaller. This dress is beautiful and I received a lot of compliments on it - BUT it is see through in the leg area.. you can see through the dress to the slit in the back under bright lights. Probably not so much an issue for shorter girls.
