I wanted a suit for a particular occasion and this was the only one available. It was nice and a little non traditional with the shorter jacket. I normally wear a size 4 or 6 but can usually size down so try a wider leg. Size 4 wasn't available so I ordered. I could have definitely used the size but with a belt the pants worked. I accidentally ordered the tall/long and should have also gotten regular. That said, I'm 5'6 and have shorter legs and the length was only slightly longer than perfect with 3inch heels so I'm not sure they'd be long enough if you were very tall.

I wore this dress to my sisters engagement party in January (in Boston!) I wanted to make sure that I wore something comfortable and flattering, but also something with sleeves that would allow me to be hands free (from a shawl). If you're someone who likes form fitting, body con dresses, this one is for you. It's a great length (just below the knee on my 5'6 very pear shape) and the sleeves kept me warm, but not hot. The material is thick enough that you don't really need spanx and since I knew it would be dimly lit, I just went without. It was awesome and I'd wear it again in a heartbeat.

This was a great dress. I ordered the medium and the small was my backup. I am a definite pear shape and often in body-con dresses I wear a medium. I'm not sure if the medium I got had been recently worn or stretched out, but I was happy to have the small as a backup and ended up choosing the small. The small fit very snuggly over my back side, but also hugged my middle/top-- the medium fit about the same on the bottom, but was loose and awkward on top. This dress has a TON of stretch and was super comfortable for dinner, drinks, dancing, etc. It had a bit of a ribbed material look to it and I needed to wear a razor back bra, but I felt pretty, sexy, and wonderful all night. If you're looking for a great little black dress that is both conservative and also a little sexy, this is it. One note is that it's a little tricky to zip, so make sure you've got an extra person handy to help.

I wore this dress for my sisters welcome party and rehearsal dinner in Chatham, MA in June. As usual on Cape Cod, the weather was chilly (50s during the day) with high winds. Knowing the event was on the water and anticipating the temp, I wanted to wear something long to keep a bit covered up and avoid being cold or having to cover a pretty dress wrapped in a sweater or shawl. As many others commented, this dress did run fairly large and is long. I'm 5'6 and wore a sold 3 inch heel and it just lightly wisped the ground, perfection. I'm an athletic pair shape with a very small waist/upper body and a KimK style lower body. I ordered a 2 and a 4 and there wasn't much difference that I noticed between the sizes except the waist was more fitted on the 2, which I appreciated and found it just a bit more flattering. I intended on wearing a stretch navy belt with a multicolored broach clasp, but actually forgot it and loved the dress just as much. Multiple people pulled me aside to compliment the dress and I could not have been more comfortable as I greeted guests and socialized well into the evening. Added a pair of turquoise/gold drop earrings and gold bangles to complete the outfit.
