Lovely color, easy to wear
This was a back up back up after the first dress I was sent totally didn't work for my postpartum body. RTR kindly sent this and it saved the day. The color is bright and cheerful. No special undergarments are needed and with the high neckline you can get away with minimal jewelry, too. At 5'6 plus three inch heels , I could make the long length work. Had this not been a last minute addition, I would have opted for the regular length.

The red lining gives this dress true flair!
Despite being in my first trimester, I was able to wear this dress and keep my big news a secret. It doesn't feel that dressy, but would work well for formal events, even work events.

A lacy ballgown
Because my first pick dress was not available for shipping, this dress was sent as a back up. I'm normally a 0-2 in street clothes but the 40R sent to me was huge. It seemed like the dress was wearing me, rather than the other way around. The lace overlay on the golden-brown base fabric gives the dress a certain flair as does the open back (make sure you have the right undergarments!), but it's the tulle underskirt that makes this dress feel like a ball gown. Had it fit, I would have worn it but I probably wouldn't want to rent it again.

Fabulous and professional
This dress was easy to wear, requiring no special undergarments. Though simple, the elegant details including the deep scoop neckline, tiered cap sleeves, and full length back zipper make this dress an understated showstopper. You didn't set out to be the bell of the ball, it just turned out that way.

Glamorous and fun,
The skirt fit very nicely and looked great! It wasn't so puffy as to be ridiculous but still had good volume. I wore it all over New York City under a coat in winter, so I did have some issues with static that a static guard product could easily have fixed. When my husband realized that it had to be returned he was pretty disappointed. It was a really fun item to rent and I'd certainly rent it again.

Nice dress for a formal affair
I like the length of the dress and the sleeves. The color was also very attractive. This dress ran small in comparison to other Herve dresses that I've worn. Be sure to order a back up size!

Dress was a little shorter than I would have preferred, but I paired it with black tights and it worked perfectly. Really fun dress for a night out or less formal wedding/event.

Simply divine.
I wish I owned this dress. Though it is slim fitting and relatively short, the longer sleeves provide a nice balance and the overall look is classy (but still sexy!). Paired with different shoes and accessories, this dress easily moves from work event to formal affair. I usually wear a size 2 or XS, but in this case I was glad to have a back-up small, which fit me much better. I can't wait to rent it again!

Stunning dress with old world charm.
Loved this dress. Paired with simple jewelry and an up-do, I received lots of compliments from other guests at my event. It ran true to size and was easy to wear. The slit was not too high and made it fun to walk and dance. Many previous reviewers and the RTR online consultant with whom I chatted suggested that at 5'6" plus 3-4" in heels, I should order the longer length. in the end, the dress was a bit too long, but I think that's a better problem than a dress which is too short. Overall, I really enjoyed wearing it and was sad to return to RTR.
