Rented this for my PhD Graduation Ceremony; it was under my ceremonial robes, so no one saw it during the ceremony, yet it was the perfect mix of sexy and sophisticated for a post-graduation party. Very cute; true to size. (A little long for shorter people (5ft .5in.), in my opinion, yet it looked good with heels ;and the slits helped to balance the length/amount of fabric.)

The smallest size (38) is equivalent to a size 2. I typically wear a 00 or 0 --rarely a 2. For this reason, I'd say that this item runs small; the 38 fit like a glove (akin to a size 0 or 00). I actually ordered a 38L, rather than a 38, because it was RTR's only option in my size. The 38L was super long! I am pushing 5ft. 1in.; with heels, I was ~5ft. 5in., yet the pants were still too long. At times, I had to carry the pant legs around, so I wouldn't ruin the bottom! It was manageable, but still... Also, the upper neck part (above the slit) kept bowing out, so you couldn't see my necklace... Despite this complaint, the outfit fit like a glove [everywhere else] and was extremely flattering. :) I highly recommend this item; however, if you're short, you may want to try another outfit (or simply order the 38 --not 38L). Also, if your necklace is the "statement piece" of the outfit, you may want to reconsider (though I don't believe other reviewers had my issue)... Oh, and unlike other reviewers, I was able to wear a strapless bra, and the bathroom situation wasn't really an issue. I had to take off the outfit once; it was a NYE house party, so I wasn't exactly in a rush to get it off & on. ;) My measurements: Bust- 32C Weight- 105-110lbs Body Type- Slim/Athletic

I wore this gown as a bridesmaid's dress for my friend's wedding. I felt like a million bucks; seriously, it was the most beautiful I've ever felt wearing a bridesmaid's dress! Here are my measurements: Weight: 110lbs Cup/Bust : 32C/34in. Height: 5 ft. 1 in. Hips: 34.75 in. Waist: 25 in. Chest: 29in. I normally wear a 0 or 00. I decided to order the 0R and 0P, because I was unsure regarding the length. Either size dress could have worked; if I recall correctly, I believe I ended up wearing the regular, because it was more flattering/laid better when I wore heels. (As you can see in the picture, it was still a little too long... It did look pretty when I walked down the aisle though. And it wasn't so long that I felt the need to worry about tripping.) Side tips: (1) I highly recommend wearing sticky boobs. (2) I'd wear your hair up if yours is long; otherwise, it'll may get caught in the dress.
