great everyday dress
It took awhile for me to get the neckline to sit properly, and it's something that definitely benefited from a little dress tape. The sleeves are really tight--there's some stretch there, but not much--so if you're particularly swole, this might not be the best fit.

enormous sleeves
Look at some of the other customer pictures to get a true sense of what the sleeves are like, because they're really enormous in a way that impairs your ability to do a lot of basic tasks. I know bell sleeves are in, but the sleeves here really take it to another level, which is either great or a little overwhelming, depending on your tastes. The sleeves also carry the dress, because there's not a lot going on otherwise, and when you're not actively gesturing with your hands and displaying the full breadth of the sleeves, I thought it looked a little plain.

excellent shine
Great cold weather party dress. My friends were thrilled by the fact that the sequins cast light onto the walls, it's a little like wearing a skinned disco ball as a dress (in a good way). The sleeves are a little itchy, since they're not lined like the rest of the dress, and there were a few precarious situations I would get caught on myself, but these all seem to be pretty minor issues. Another plus: the lining ended up being thick enough that I didn't end up wearing a bra, so high points for comfort.

great date night dress
This was a little on the long side for me, even in 3" heels. I also needed fashion tape in order to secure the top, and it took a little bit of fussing in order to get things to drape correctly. I also found that I had to adjust my seated position a little so that the break in the dress didn't fall all the way open. This is definitely an eye-catching dress, though, and it ended up being more comfortable than I thought it would be. Loved the color!

lovely work dress
Ended up wearing this to the office. I was concerned that all the lace would make it seem more like a nighttime dress, but the neckline and the length of the sleeves/hem made it a little more conservative. I wasn't sure about all of the weird details at first, but I ended up really loving the total effect. As a bonus, the lace details managed to camouflage my small forearm tattoos quite well, which is something I had been concerned about. Definitely runs small--I'm usually a true 0, and even the 2 felt pretty tight around my ribcage. Size up!

dramatic in a good way
Dress runs small and there's no give in the fabric, so I'd recommend sizing up, if only to assuage any concerns about your lower back looking weirdly squished. Loved the dress, thought it was very striking. The lacework is sturdier than you might expect, which was a huge relief. Something I hadn't considered--there are two zippers in the back, and the top zipper is unimaginably difficult to finagle on your own. It's not that the zipper itself gets stuck, but clasping the top zipper in the first place on your mid-back is a mobility exercise in an of itself. Outside help recommended.

stunning color
I have never worn another piece of clothing that has gotten as many unsolicited compliments (from male coworkers, even) as this coat. It's stunning. If you're looking for something that looks more tailored, don't get this--it's meant to be oversized and it WILL look boxy. It takes awhile to get used to, but I really came around on the color, the details, and the sheer quality of the wool. Loved how warm it kept me, even as the weather unseasonably dipped into the low 30s, and how much it stands out in a crowd of dark navy and black winter coats.

Great formal dress
Wore this for a black tie wedding, immediately got compliments as soon as I stepped into the hotel lobby. I would have loved a slightly shorter option, but I thought the fit was very good otherwise. The material is pretty thick (great for colder weather) and it also meant that the dress traveled extremely well, which is something I had been worried about.

Great professional dress
Wore this dress for a daytime work event as well as a panel talk that I was part of. A really great professional dress, although it might be a bit on the short side for more conservative workplaces. I received many compliments on it from other women. Nice medium weight fabric for the fall, and as a bonus, I found that the material made it so that the bell sleeves could easily be turned inside out for eating and other activities.
