The dress is gorgeous, with enough drama for a black tie event. It was a perfect alternative to a long gown, especially for a petite person. I wore it braless because the back is relatively sheer. FYI the waist runs very small. The 40 fit perfectly but was constricting at the waist. The 42 was too big in the top and arm holes.

This dress is a bold and eye catching blue. It's a very sexy dress but the peplum makes it slightly more appropriate for a party or formal. It's a bit short which is fine if you are standing still but it does need to be readjusted down if you are walking or dancing a lot.
