I didn’t end up wearing this dress, nor the backup size since they were both too small. I rented the xs since it said it equated to a size 4 and the xxs as a back up since I’m normally between a 2 and 4 and according to the sizing, that’s what I should get. Well, they were both definitely too small! The xxs was for sure a 0 and the xs more like a 2 and could barely zip up, let alone breath! So I went with another backup dress I rented at the last minute.

This was a backup dress for my cousin’s wedding that I ended up going with and I have zero regrets! It was absolutely perfect and received so many compliments on it! Only down side is, I wish it came in petite length. I had to wear 5.5in heels since I’m only 5ft tall. But I got creative come dance time with the long ties and made it work! I’m normally a small, but got the XSR since the small wasn’t available, and it worked out since the dress isn’t meant to fit tightly.

I got this as a back up dress to wear to my brother’s wedding and it worked out so much better than my first choice. The size, silhouette, and length were perfect, especially since I changed out of my 3.5 in heels into boots later on during the reception. Even with the shoe change, the length didn’t drag on the floor which concerned me at first since I’m only 5’ nothing.
