This dress was FIRE and I still think about it a year later. The dress was quite form fitting. I ordered an 8 and 10. Ended up wearing the 8 but prroooobably should have gone with the 10. The 8 was quite tight and I didn't consider how eating a meal would make the 8 slightly too tight feeling. But fortunately the construction is so well done that it just sucks you in. No food baby to be seen. The length was gorgeous and flattering. High quality velvet fabric with some really stunning embroidery. It's so beautiful in person, the pictures will never do it justice. I'd say it runs true to size / slightly small. Maybe a little too sexy for a work function but what can I say, I like to go for it.

The fit was relaxed but still flattering / body skimming. I'm normally an 8-10 dress. The 8 was unavailable, but the 10 ended up fitting quite well. I'd probably have gotten the 8 for a slimmer fit given the choice. Had to wear a padded bra to fill out the chest in the 10! It showed what I consider an appropriate amount of cleavage but was a fairly low neckline. I'm about 5'3 and the length was right at the knee. Sheer sleeves, sparkly gold detail (but it's not too much!) Overall I really liked this dress and considered buying it.
