I've worn a lot of pretty dresses in my life. But you guys. YOU GUYS. I'm pretty sure this dress is the most glamorous, flattering dress I've ever worn. The pic really speaks for itself, but this dress made me feel like a supermodel (which I am not). It ran true to size without stretch, so if you're in between sizes, consider sizing up. I wore mine without Spanx and with 5" heels. It was a dream!!

The dress itself is beautiful and well-made, but the fit is off. I am between a 32-C and 32-D and it bagged considerably at the side of the breast. Don't get me wrong - a good "side boob" dress can be sexy, but this wasn't that. It just gaped. Sadly, as gorgeous as the dress was, I just couldn't wear it.

Before I get into the dress itself, allow me to offer you a little RTR advice: approach your dress like it's a costume. A costume (unlike a personal garment), is made to fit more than one person, so one has to be ready to tape, tuck, pin, or adjust as necessary. One should also be aware that certain things (snags, wrinkled tulle, a missing sequin, etc.), go with the territory of wearing a costume. So be prepared. :)Thankfully, this dress was almost totally ready to wear out of the box. I ordered a 4R for my backup size, but never even tried it on; the 2 fit perfectly. As you can see, it's a beautiful dress! The belt (or really, it's a ribbon) IS necessary top bring in the waist and complete the look. I also wore 5" heels with it, but could've gotten away with a 3.5" or 4" heel too. Unless you're tall and naturally statuesque, I wouldn't recommend any heel shorter than 3.5," or this dress will swallow you up. This piece really inspires confidence in the wearer, which is good because it's a MUST to pull off! Tons of compliments, points, and stares of approval. :)
