I have a true blue hourglass shape with a bust and hips, but constantly running into issues with things fitting my smaller waistline. Wore this to a black tie wedding and could not have been happier. The shape of the dress complimented me in all the right places , and I even went down a size (usually an 8) because the hips had just enough flexibility to accommodate it. Don't be worried about the mermaid fit. I danced the night away comfortably and didn't feel constrained or like I would rip a seam at the hips! Would definitely rent this again for the right event!
