I rented this dress as a backup, but fortunately my primary pick worked out. It's a beautiful dress, and would've been a great choice for the black tie work event I was going to. The fabric was much heavier and more substantial than I anticipated. It fit perfectly on the bottom, but I couldn't even come close to fastening the top! I have fairly broad shoulders and a D cup, and I couldn't get the top fastener closer than an inch apart. It was also very tight around the armholes. There is basically no stretch to the fabric, so I would order up if you have broad shoulders and/or a large chest. It's still a lovely dress though!

I needed a dress for a black tie event, so I tried RTR for the first time. I got the 4L and 6L, and ended up wearing the 4L. It was just a teeny bit shorter than I would have liked with my 4 inch heels. It's very stretchy and forgiving, and super comfortable. Strapless bras are the bane of my existence, so I was thrilled to be able to get away with a regular bra! Although the lace straps are see through, they were busy enough that you couldn't see the straps through them unless you got super close up. I will say that the lace on the straps was definitely stretched out, so there was a little bit of drooping in the back, but not excessively so.

I rented these for a holiday gala, and they were great! Just the right length to be really make a statement, but not too heavy to make you want to take them off before the night is through. My boyfriend ended up tracking them down and buying me them for Christmas, so now I can wear them all the time!
