This dress was listed under "maternity" options but it runs small; I usually wear a 14 pre-pregnancy and haven't gained much weight, but at 6 months pregnant I couldn't even get a size 16 in this dress zipped up, even though 14W and 16 in the other dress I ordered fit great. it's just as well, as this dress would have shown way too much cleavage even if I had been able to get it zipped up.

I wore this dress to a black tie optional event for work while 6 months pregnant. Before pregnancy I wore a size 14, and I haven't gained much weight; I think I've gained in my belly but lost a little everywhere else. I wore the 14 WR and it fit great! It fit over my stomach without being to tight at all. I'm 5'3" and currently weigh about 170#. The only downside is that this dress was a bit too low cut for a work event, but I pinned under the shoulder straps by about 3" and it was much more work appropriate. I have a short torso so I have to do the same with most dresses and tank tops; if you have similar problems then you'll probably have the same problem with this dress. It was an easy fix, though. Since I'm short I definitely couldn't pair it with flats or short heels without the back hem dragging the ground, so I wore 4" heels, though I probably could have gotten by with slightly shorter heels. The dress is very high quality, and absolutely gorgeous. I got compliments all night long. I highly recommend this dress; I would definitely rent it again.
