I'm usually between a 2 and a 4 (2 in most dresses) and definitely a 4 in this dress. Like most people said, it's deceptively tight at the hips...and I'm basically straight as a ruler. Once I got used to the bit of tightness even in the 4 though it was super comfortable. The top is thick enough that you don't have to wear a bra. Perfect length for a party...I loved that I didn't have to keep pulling down at the hem. Absolutely loved the back! If you're between sizes I would size up but I wouldn't size all the way up because then the top would be too loose...unless maybe you've got a chest.

I love love love the tulle-- it made me feel like a princess! I wore this dress to a black tie wedding and was a little nervous that it'd be too much but because the dress was black it wound up being fine. I got a ton of compliments on the dress-- it definitely stands out. As far as fit goes, I'd give this dress 3 stars. I'm usually a 2 in dresses but had to size up to the 4 and still had a lot of trouble breathing (no bra worn either). The top feels a lot like a corset but it runs down to below your butt so if you're not straight and narrow you might have trouble getting into it. After reading some of the reviews I got a 4L and wore it with 3.5in heels and the length was great. Since there are so many layers, and given how the dress is shipped, the shorter layers underneath were super wrinkled-- it didn't bother me too much but the overall look was more poofy than in the model picture.

The dress fit amazingly well- I got compliments from strangers all night! I'm usually between a 2 and a 4 and this 2R was perfect! I wore it with 3.5 inch heels and the teeny train in the back dragged a little anyway and my toes barely peeped out. Because the top is a bustier you don't even need to wear a bra but I did, just in case. HIGHLY recommend this dress.

This was a gorgeous dress, made me feel very sexy and classy. I didn't realize that the top part was mesh-- that made it even dressier, which was a good thing for a wedding. The 2 was snug but not tight. I'm usually between a 2 and 4 and wore the 2 in this one.

I'm usually a 4, so I ordered that and and 2 as backup. I wound up wearing the 2 because the dress was stretchy...realistically I fell somewhere between the 2 and 4 but the 4 was just too big. Loved the dress though, didn't wind up wearing the belt. Got compliments on it all night!
