Received loads of compliments all night! The slip was a little snug and creeped up my thighs when I danced, despite my wearing Spanx to hold everything in—as a pear-shaped woman, though, I'm fairly used to this, so it wasn't a deal-breaker. I chose not to wear a bra, but didn't have any problems.

First: this dress is sexy and comfortable. Easy to wear and conducive to dancing. That said, previous reviews were correct: this dress runs HUGE. In no way am I an extra small woman! I'm grateful to previous reviewers; without their guidance, I would have been stuck with the choice between SR and MR -- and in the SR, I would have needed lots of fashion tape and my waist would have been hidden, but I would have had greater coverage of my booty/thighs. The dress fell about an inch above the floor without shoes - I would go for XSL if I could do it over.
