This is a great dress to have on-hand - throw it over your head and forget it, while still looking very put-together and modern. The mix of denim with the black lace detail was fun, and the sleeves have a nice tailoring/cuff to keep it from feeling too casual. The lace shows through to your skin, so I wore a camisole underneath for work or a black bra. Kept it for 2 months because it became a go-to.

This was such a perfect work dress and also around-town dress. I haven't worn this length often before, and fell in love. Felt very easy and chic. The buttons near the waist were a touch snug, but very relaxed fit everywhere else. Lots of compliments. Will rent again for sure - was sorry to send it back.

I had never attempted a dress this length in my life, and never had worn a dress with slits in the arms - and ended up loving it! Had such a great trial run that I wore it again purposefully when presenting on a low-key panel (length is nice when seated on-stage). I worried I would be too short and wide to look good but it was flattering after all, especially with heels. Fabric is a bit silky, which really helps make it work. The elastic waist gives it definition, and the crossed string at the neck is feminine and playful. If you're on the fence, I say go for it!

I liked the thickness of the knit and the pretty white Deco-like design at the neckline and waist. The only bummer is that the pleats (which go all the way around) tended to flare at the widest part of my hips, making me look even wider. I wore it anyway hoping it "moved" better than it looked standing still, but it did make be feel a little self-conscious. Maybe women of another height or build won't trigger this issue.
