I wore this to a formal tropical party and it was perfect. I received so many compliments, including one from a celebrity who I never would have otherwise spoken to. She loved the dress too! The grommet detailing gives this dress a more modern vibe. This is a very high quality construction dress and is fully lined. I wore a strapless bra with it, but you might also be able to wear a racer-back style if you can find one with straps that are adjustable enough. It was a bit long on me. I'm 5'5" on a good day and the dress skimmed the ground. I wore it with flat sandals that never even peeked out from under the hem of the dress.

Several weeks ago I reserved a dress for a special event. Apparently a reservation does not guarantee you’ll get what you paid for. I selected this dress as my replacement and nothing about it is good. The sleeves are black and the dress is green. It’s like a Frankenstein dress made up of elements that don’t go together. It’s so extremely low cut the skin below my bra was showing. The proportions are strange. It’s really really wide in the hips. I cannot imagine this dress looking good on anyone. I can only imagine the proportions on the smaller sizes must be better. I usually LOVE this designer.

This jacket is a beautiful color. The cut is modern. It was big on me, but I wore it anyway and received compliments. I originally ordered it to wear to a reception where I received an award. I ended up wearing to the office on a regular work day instead. I think it would look better on a tall person.
