I feel like it could be dressed up or down, I wore it to a small wedding at a sushi/steakhouse. When I went to the after-party (it was a lunch wedding so we went back to their house for dinner) I dressed it down with a jean jacket (unseasonably cool for May in NY) and platform flip flops. I was anticipating wearing the small, I was going to get a small and medium but they only had an xs for the free backup size and that's the one I ended up wearing!

I usually wear between a 0 and a 2. I got a 0 because the only sizes available were 0 and 10.... I'm not even confident the 10 would have fit! The slit was over my crotch! I couldn't wear it and I can't even post a picture of how poorly it fit without posting my underwear. Quality fabric though, definitely not for tall girls.

I have long longs, the dress fit perfectly the slit came and hit right at the right spot. Was a comfortable dress all day and night. I wore it to a beach wedding and got tons of compliments and to keep it more mild I did minimal jewelry and accessories. Would absolutely recommend and get a size larger, I'm usually a 0/2 and I wore the 2.
