Holiday Office Party, And For Sure I Was Glam!
So it's a beautiful dress, truly- very vivid red, the cut is pretty and the style was unique. Three things: the material is light, so for those who are easily cold, be aware (I run 10 degrees warmer than the average person, so I was actually delighted). I have fat arms, and they definitely were tight on the sleeves. I also have some HIPS, so that actually made the (normally classy) slit go all the way up to the waist. I just pinned it with a mini safety pin and was back in the game.

I LOVED the tutu-esque feel!!
The zipper kept sliding down, there was no way to stop it except for an expertly placed safety pin--however I loved the tutu-esque feel and the thickness up top because it made it so I didn't need to wear a bra--I wore one anyway since I've C cups, but for a girl who's not so top-heavy as I am, you won't have to. I had worn it with kitten heel pointy black shoes, but because they were new and didn't break them in on time, I wore my converse black sneakers I randomly had in my car when I started to get blisters--another look I LOVED.

No joke, I struggled with returning this dress....
I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS DRESS. I want it for me, I cannot wait to get it again....I might just rent it to wear around my house. It's comfortable, fun, flirty and the back is sexy without being overbearing. It's a modern twist on the classic LBD. Go for gold, RTR!!!

SO lovely, when you get over the weird fit.
Based on the other reviews stating the dress runs large, I ordered my backup dress 2 sizes down just in case. I'm gl lad I did, this dress really doesn't cinch at the waist--I would've bought this dress on the spot if it was. But I copied another reviewer who used a belt--I used a small-ish black belt and the waist was no longer an issue. Now, if you're like me (super tiny waist, big arms) the top will fit pretty tight (which sort worked in my favor, it acted like a corset, it was so snug). The under layer material is SHORT (hit me mid thigh), but the over layer lace was so dense, I was comfortable dancing the whole night away. I'll absolutely rent it again in the future!
