Rented this to go over a dress for a formal winter wedding. Wore it to both the rehearsal and the wedding and got lots of compliments. It was warm, functional, AND totally fashionable. High-quality fabric and faux fur -- soft at the collar and a stand out piece. Love, love, love -- would definitely rent again.

Wore this for a friend's formal winter wedding. I was attending with my boyfriend, who was a groomsman, and wanted something that would photograph well and stan up to his tux, but not steal the show or feel bridesmaid-y. The soft shimmery color paired with the gunmetal bling at the shouldes is a great mix of hard and soft. With the right accessories, this dress feels really formal. Comfortable to wear all night and we did lots of dancing -- definitely glad I sized up to the 8 though. The fabric is luxe but has no give, and the structured waist makes it a tight shimmy. No shaper needed, but definitely, allow for at least one size up. If you're more apple shaped (wider at the waist) you may even go two sizes up.
