Beautiful, classy black-tie dress!
Just wore this to a black-tie dress and it was absolutely stunning! Still losing baby weight so ordered 8 and 6. 5' 5" and about 145 pounds at time of wedding and went with the 6. The ribbon just above waist has no give. I have a wide rib cage and the 6 was perfect. The dress has a beautiful back with some silver rhinestones so I wore silver jewelry. Dress length was perfect with my standard 3" dressy sandals. There is a nice weight to the skirt

More beautiful in person
The fabric on this dress is beautiful and is high quality. I have wider hips and this dress looks awesome if you are standing still, but I could tell that when I hit the dance floor that it would ride up around my hips and I did not want to be tugging on it all night. It was my back-up so I chose not to wear it to a wedding. You cannot wear a regular bra because it dips in the back, which is very pretty. I have a round butt and it fit perfectly fine over the butt and I would not recommend for people with tummies. It is pretty unforgiving in the tummy region.

I LOVE this dress. The color is so much fun!
I cannot say enough good things about this dress. The skirt is full and fun and makes you want to dance all night. The v-neck is a little low, which I liked because I have small girls and I thought it made the dress a little sexy and balanced the full skirt. You can wear a regular bra, no pockets, which is surprising for the full skirt. My favorite thing about this dress, besides the amazing color, is that you felt very secure in it, nothing was going to pop out so you could just dance and relax and there was no tugging or futzing. I received so many compliments and told so many people about RTR at this wedding. I normally wear a size 2 at Banana, but have been a size 4 in every other RTR except for this one. I read everyone's reviews and just went with the size 2 and it was perfect. I have a small chest, but broad shoulders and a wide rib-cage and this dress still fit perfectly!

Narrow in Hips
This dress is very pretty and I received a ton of compliments all day - love the color. I have been a size 4 in every RTR dress up until this point, it is VERY narrow through the hips. The 6 fit well and looked very pretty, but I had a hard time bending down, sitting etc. Definitely size up if you have hips and/or butt.

Great color but tight
I love the color and cut of this dress, but the fabric is quite heavy (good quality) and does not have as much stretch as it would appear. It was summer event and it was just too tick and too hot to wear.

Classy and Comfortable
Like all Shoshanna dresses this dress is high quality and fits very well. I would size up for your extra size, especially if you have a butt like me. Can't wait to rent another Shoshanna dress.

This is a great party dress and I just rented it for my 30th birthday. I am normally a 2-4 and wore the 4 because the band on the 2 was a little tight around my large rib cage. The dress is very comfortable and truly lives up to its name.
