I ordered the 4R and it puddled on me, even with very high heels. It was way too long to wear out. The color is very pretty, but I wasn't impressed with the rest of the dress. It's pretty plain and the material is nothing too special.

Dress runs true to size. I ordered one size down for back-up but didn't need it. The dress is poofy at the bottom, which is something to keep in mind if you're short. I'm 5'3" and wore 3 1/2 inch heels, which helped to counteract some of the poof and keep me from looking like a bell. I would not wear this dress with flats. The top of the dress is ornate and absolutely gorgeous. It is more pearls than gemstones, but really pretty. The pockets were great for stashing small items. The dress is very, very comfortable. I wore it for an entire day's worth of events (from a morning wedding to an evening birthday dinner, to an after-party at a bar/club) and got tons of compliments the entire day.

This dress runs very large! I am normally a size 4 and wore a 0, so size down. The sequins add a lot of shimmer but not in a tacky way. It was very comfortable to dance in and is lined on the inside so there is no scratching. The straps are great because I didn't have to keep pulling the dress up all night like I do with strapless. It's not the lightest dress I've worn but was not overly heavy either. For the fit and price it can't be beat for a fun weekend away. It is short (particularly when you size down) and has some extra fabric around the middle, but it's very comfortable and sexy without being trashy. I would rent again.

I tried to get a 4R and 2R, but the 2R was not available. I was able to make the 4R work, but 2R would have been better. The back of the bodice has some stretch which is great, and the inside has some of that sticky material to keep it from slipping below a strapless bra. Plenty of room for hips. Some of the sequins were missing since this is obviously a popular rental, but it was in good shape overall. I wore 4 inch heels and the length was perfect. Received a ton of compliments and will definitely rent again.

I needed a dress for a conservative daytime wedding. The color is prettier and more blue in person, and the metallic thread pattern is quite intricate and appears gold in person, not silver (the dress looks silver online, but it's not). The dress was long on me (hit below knee, I'm 5'3"), but that was the point for the event. I'm sure it would look even better on someone taller. The pockets are fantastic and no special undergarments required. I ordered a 4 (my usual size) and 2, and wore the 2. If you have a smaller waist I would size down.
