Nice work piece with a black top and tights, but could also definitely be cocktail appropriate.
Slightly small at the waist but plenty of room otherwise.

Well-fitting & fun work or party dress
This dress has a nice, forgiving fit. I have an hourglass shape and am fairly busty (32D), but this had plenty of room in the chest and hips. The flounce at the bottom really makes the dress - it elevates it from a typical shirtdress to something much more polished. I paired with sheer black tights and pointy black heels to really embrace the 70s vibe.
