This dress was really beautiful, and felt very elegant for a party. But because of the light fabric, shorter hem and cut of the top, it didn’t feel as formal to me. I do think it looked better than my photo shows- the angle isn’t great. This was a backup to a backup dress for a black tie wedding, so I didn’t end up wearing it. But for the right occasion I would absolutely rent and wear it. One star deducted only because the model photo shows a longer length and that’s not what I got. I’d need a long length to hit the floor and up the formality level.

This was a backup dress for me and I ended up changing into it just for dancing. The shape is flattering and appears be form fitting but doesn’t show every bump and bulge. Though I still wore shapewear. I wish it had been slightly longer (I’m learning that I like longer dresses and should always order the L in anything I rent). It requires a sticky bra, strapless or no bra. The material isn’t anything fancy, but it’s great for the price.

The 8L worked great, just hitting the floor the way I want a formal gown to with 3”ish heels. The bodice was beautifully shaped, not tight or uncomfortable at all. I didn’t wear a bra and felt comfortable with the coverage. I had ordered an 8R, but it wasn’t available, and I wouldn’t have wanted it anyway. It does flair a bit at the hips, but I felt gorgeous in this dress.

The top was loose on this dress, but it nicely balanced the shortness of the skirt. I wore this for a girls night out in Vegas and it was really perfect.
