We had a PINK party for a friend's 50th birthday! This dress was PERFECT! I am vertically challenged, very curvy hour-glass with a 38DD bust and this dress fit me GREAT!!! It was so comfortable and I danced the night away in it! I know the description of this dress says "red", but it is actually a large floral blend of hot pinks, bright coral, and purples... its GORGEOUS AND FUN!!! The dress is made of a heavier fabric and hangs very nicely. Because of the weight of the fabric, it could easily disguise/hide lots of body flaws. I loved the pockets which were the perfect size for a cell phone, lipstick, glasses, etc. without looking bulky. The wider boat neckline meant my bra straps had to be in just the right spot, but it was no issue with a little fashion tape to hold the dress to the straps. I paired this dress with a pair of nude heels with some rhinestone bling on my wrists and ears to dress it up a bit more for the party. I planned to wear a shrug or something to cover my arms (because I hate to show them), but my husband and daughters told me I looked so gorgeous that no one would even notice what I see as major imperfections. I felt pretty enough that I actually took their advice. I hated to return this dress and I can't wait for an event to rent it again!

I actually got these earrings as a "Mystery Bling" add-on. The earrings were pretty and even though I am not inclined to want to wear clip-on earrings, they were very comfortable when I tried them on. However, they were rather vintage looking and the dress I rented was far vintage. My dress was a floral hot pinks and corals with a fun, playful feel. I'm not real sure why these were chosen as an accessory for that dress. Needless to say, I didn't wear them. Also, the stone was not actually clear or crystal... it had a light champagne-ish tone to it. Like I said, they were very pretty and they would be gorgeous with perhaps a lace dress or something more romantic in style.

This dress is beautiful!!! Unfortunately, it was much too big on me. I am a very curvy true 16W. Big bootie, hips and thighs with a smaller waist and larger bust. I was fearful that the dress might be small so I got the 18W too. But I probably needed a 14W or smaller. I tried using two large clamps inside the dress on the zipper to pull it in about 3 more inches. I put on a shrug sweater over it to cover the clamped area, but the top still was loose and the bottom was just bulky with the extra fabric. I was sooo bummed. I was attending a black tie event and had hoped this would be the perfect amount of glam and "little black dress". It would have been perfect if it had fit. Unfortunately I didn't have any leeway time to call RTR to help me find something else. Gorgeous dress, just didn't work in the sizes I got.

I typically wear a size 14W or 16, but ordered an 18 and 20 in this because I have quite a voluptuous bust and booty, so sheath style dresses are not my best fit. However, since the dress style in the 20's era was more strait and not particularly body hugging, I opted to wear the 20. The dress is actually two pieces... a black slip-like underdress with the woven, beaded overlay being a separate piece. This was another reason I chose the larger size, so it would not rise up at all. There were a few loose beads on this dress, but not really noticeable and it definitely didn't detract from the elegance and beauty. It was PERFECT for our event!
