This dress is great. It's a great dress to show off your body - and it's going to show everything. So consider Spanx. All E&J dresses fit slim (good for me because I'm small), so maybe size up for backup dress. I'm 5'3 and it hit just above my knee. Got a bunch of compliments. I didn't originally order this dress, but my first pick was damaged and RTR sent this as a backup. I never would have picked it myself and originally thought the color was awful... but once I tried it I loved it. Def recommended!

Rented this for a formal summer wedding. I'm very small - 5'2 and 98 lbs so finding a formal dress was tricky. I originally rented another dress that was waaayyy too long and had to rent this one at the NYC location 3 hours before the event! Luckily, it fit really well. The straps were a bit too long, but I folded/sewed them up and it didn't show underneath my hair. That made the straps fit well in the back and brought up the bust line. Length was perfect with 4 inch heels. Very comfortable and I got so many compliments. Plus it stood out by not being a black dress, even though it was formal.

Rented this dress for a daytime NYC wedding and got so many compliments. The skirt is bigger and more of a "bell effect" than I thought - it has a stiff trim so it stays arced out and does not fall straight. But it's flattering! I'm 5'2 and 98 pounds - so it looks good on a very petite person. A smidge tight in the rib cage, but not bad at all. Might be smart to order a size up if you are unsure so it doesn't squeeze you in the cutouts and make it look like your skin is exploding out of the cutouts.

This dress was really cute on. The fabric is think, so it's good for winter and you don't have to worry about undergarments. It's definitely short, but that worked for me because so am I. Some reviews said it was loose in the waist, but I didn't think so. It fit relatively snug through the hips so it was flattering on the hips/butt without being overly risque. Just note that this dress has shoulder pads - I didn't realize that so I was surprised when I saw them. If I have anything negative to say, it would be that I think the shoulders were a bit broader than I would have liked. Otherwise - a great rental!
