I ended up wearing this dress a few times. I received a lot of compliments on it and my husband wanted me to keep it. It was great because you could dress it up or wear it like an everyday dress. I wore it to a special brunch during a wedding weekend, to a church event and over to a friend’s house for an outdoor BBQ dinner. I felt perfectly dressed for each occasion. It looks cute with a Jean jacket and ballet flats, or almost beachy with a pair of flip flops. I loved the pockets. There was an under layer that gave the whole thing a bit of weight without being hot. It helped the dress drape properly, no flying between your legs in a high wind, no see through silhouette… I didn’t even have to wear a bra to cover my high beams. This dress is a winner.

I wore this skirt on two occasions- for an afternoon cocktail hour before a big evening event and for an outside school event. The skirt received a lot of compliments. It is actually a very pretty, flattering little piece. The skirt was great for the indoor event. It draped well and made me feel pretty. For the outside event, it was a bit of a pain because the wind kept blowing it wide open as I walked around. If I had a safety pin it would have been perfect, but I didn't so it needed babysitting.

I am between a size 6 and an 8. I wore the size 8 and it fit perfectly. The cut is lovely and the fabric is thick enough that I was able to get away without wearing a bra. Even though the fabric is thick, the dress breathed.
