I was nervous about the length of a 6R after reading other reviews - I thought it would be much too short with heels on. I am 5'5.5" and was able to wear about a ~ 1.5" heel with no problem. I usually do wear higher heels but you can definitely wear a heel in this gown if you are around the same height. The gown touched the ground and you could only see the toe of my shoes when I walked. I wore a 6 (my normal size) with no issues. It was very comfortable and fit great. The sleeves are kind of long but I liked that detail. I received so many compliments on the dress and I, as well as several others, loved the color - this is a great alternative if you always wear black.

This dress is so flowy and comfortable. The color is great and it's very flattering if you have a smaller waist and bigger hips. I am 5' 5" and wore 3.75 inch heels and the regular was still long - I tripped on the dress walking up stairs. Walk around in general was not an issue,however, just the stairs!
