I'm writing this review several months after the fact, so my memory is a bit fuzzy. The only major takeaways I recall is that I had to tape the sides of the top to my skin - it was definitely a bit loose in the bust area for me. Also, if the ruffles didn't hang right, your nipples could show through the fabric. But, I made sure my ruffles stayed draped in front! I ordered two back-up sizes just in case and noticed some of them had different linings in the bust area. Perhaps some people made alterations to avoid the potential nipple issue. Something to keep in mind!

This dress was amazing. The texture in the fabric and the shoulder cut-outs were really nice. As other reviews say, this dress is extremely short however (the picture doesn't show the bottom, but it cut off in my mid- to upper thigh). I don't mind short outfits, but I would not have been able to bend over or sit down properly in the Small, which is my usual size, so I wore a Medium. This just meant the sleeves were a tad longer, but overall I had no issues at all with the Medium. Wonderful fancy dress.

This dress was PERFECT with a few minor adjustments. I wore a slightly padded bra to fill out the top and safety pinned the straps. I also pinned the V in the back of the dress to bra, as otherwise the bra would have been slightly higher than the V and shown. I wore about 3" heels. The dress flows elegantly as you walk around and I received compliments all night. This was the perfect choice.
