This top is really cute in person but, the fabric has absolutely no give as previous reviews mentioned. The smocked, zippered back was the only reason I could wear it to my event. The large was still snug but, the give in the back was enough to make this work. I can usually fit into a standard medium (6-8) top. I was glad that I had the back up size available because there was no way I would have been able to even zip up the medium. If you are busty I would suggest looking for another top that has more give.

The only fitted part of this dress is directly under bust. I had a size 6 & 8 shipped and ended up wearing the 8 because the 6 was a bit snug. The ties at the bust made the dress more customizable for larger or smaller cup sizes. I'm currently nursing so, the tied bust made this dress work for my changing cup sizes. I'm 5' 7" and the length was perfect to wear with some dressy flat sandals for a garden bridal shower.
