I actually got this as an exchange for a dress that didn't fit, and I don't know why this hadn't been my first choice. It was even more stunning and fun to wear in person. I had read a few reviews that suggested making some at-home adjustments to the length and shoulders if necessary, which was so easy because of the sequins. I took the straps in a few inches by the back hem, and took the bottom hem up almost 4 inches - I am a very petite 5'0" with a small bust, so was not at all surprised by the sizing in these areas. I just made a few quick stitches that you couldn't even see because I hid them behind the sequins. It took some work, but it was totally worth it. I felt like a movie star in this dress. It got a little irritating under the arms as other reviewers have noted, but being a special-occasion/one-time experience, it wasn't going to break the deal. Just be fair-warned, sequins can get irritating after a few hours. If you're looking for something fabulous and unique, this dress is absolutely it. The color is so much more vibrant and stunning in person, just go for it!

This dress is absolutely gorgeous but I was unable to wear it because it was just too big in the bust and way too long for my petite 5'0" frame. I wanted so badly for this dress to fit, I think I just ignored all the reviews that indicated it was going to be too big for me :( I think a OP would have been perfect, but it wasn't available. Had the bust fit normally, I probably would have just dealt with the length and used fashion tape to make some adjustments. But with the overall sizing just being too big, I had to send it back with a heavy heart. Luckily, the RTR customer service rep i spoke with walked me through couple of options to replace it and I got another dress the very next day. I hope I get an opportunity to rent this in a petite size someday, it's just so pretty!

This dress fit really well and was definitely a unique style. I got it as a back up and didn't end up wearing, I wore the Line Them Up dress instead. I usually wear a 0 or the smallest available, and the XXS fit just right. It was tight to zip but was fine once on. I think on my petite frame the straps felt a little overwhelming, but that wouldn't have been a deal breaker. If I had another night out, I definitely would have worn this too. It needs the right shoes and accessories, but it seemed pretty comfortable all around. I'd probably rent this again for the right occasion.

I absolutely loved this rental! I got it for my BFF's bachelorette in Miami and it was perfect for our night out. It was very form-fitting, the bandage style accentuated the little bit of booty I have to flaunt :) I'm small up top and this dress was a perfect fit for my athletic/petite build. In most dresses I wear a 0 or the smallest one available, but for the first time ever the XXS was actually too small. I could get into it but it was a very tight squeeze. I was really glad I got the XS too, it was much more comfortable. I'm not sure how it would do on somebody with a larger chest, but it was a knock out fun dress to wear for a night out dancing in South Beach. It photographs so well, the colors just pop! I would definitely rent another Herve after this one.

I rented this for a March bridal shower and it was an excellent dress for this party. I was in the bridal party so I knew I'd be doing lots of moving around, and wanted a dress that would be cute but comfortable enough to run around in. Because of the sheath-style, the dress has lots of room to move. It's not form-hugging in the slightest. I have a small frame, but I thought this fit well overall. I knew it would be roomy so it was what I expected. I was very happy with the rental and would definitely rent it again in another color if available. I paired it with tan fishnets and nude peep toes, plus green accessories for an additional pop of color. Very fun rental!

This dress fit like a glove and overall was very comfortable. I am a very petite 5'0' and have a very hard time finding dresses that fit my small but athletic frame. I am not curvy, but have more going for my butt than I do for my bust, so I need a dress that fits this. This dress definitely runs smaller on top, so it was perfect for my size A status :) It has a nice built in bra closure, so you really don't need to wear a strapless at all, unless it's just added security. The material is a nice slightly shimmery linen with a really fun almost paisley pattern. It was perfect for a late summer wedding in Naragansett. My only complaint was that part of the boning was coming through the lining and I didn't realize it until I'd already been wearing it for an hour or so and it poked me so badly throughout the night I had a little welt when I took it off. It's more of a quality control issue and had it been spotted before I received the dress, I'm sure it could have been fixed. I did speak to customer service about the issue and they gave me a full refund even though I wore the dress. I thought it was handled very well. I would have given this dress 5 stars had it not been for the ripped lining and broken boning. It's a great rental!
