I chose this dress for my 30th birthday dinner + afterparties. I loved the vibrant colors and sexy (backless) yet sophisticated (high neckline) factors. The size 4 was loose on my back and falling open quite a bit, so I opted for the size 2, which was still a little loose on top but used the complementary fashion tape to keep the back from shifting too much. A little tight in the caboose but not very noticeably, even though I have an ample bottom. Would definitely rent again...prob for a summer event next time!

This dress fit perfectly, especially since I was able to adjust the straps. I thought the skirt was a good length, too - not too long or too short. What I didn't realize when I placed the order for this dress is that the sides are sheer lace - i thought it was lace on top of another black fabric. I was a little concerned that the black fabric covering the bust was too little, but it worked out and I didn't have any wardrobe malfunctions - this might be something to consider for someone who has a larger chest, as it might be pretty revealing.

I thought I needed a 2 but that wasn't available so I ordered a 4 and a 0. The 4 was HUGE and the 0 was actually just a pinch too tight. I think this dress is best for someone very busty, as the 0 was tight on my body but still pretty loose on top. Really pretty on the model but would probably have needed a ton of fashion tape to keep it in place

I ordered this dress as a backup style for a wedding I had to attend and did not end up wearing it because I preferred the Badgley Mischka Crystal Pop gown. I think this dress looks great on the model, but when I received it I wasn't expecting the shaping/boning inside the dress. Those details might have been included in the dress notes and I overlooked them...I was hoping this would have a little stretch and be more form-fitting instead of being so structured. The boning inside the dress didn't really work with my body type since I am petite and also a little curvy. It was beautiful in person, just not right for my body.

I fell in love with this dress when I first saw it, but it didn't quite meet my high expectations when I tried it on. I usually wear a 4 but decided to get a backup 2 instead of sizing up, and the 2 was still a little big for me in the waist so I was very happy I went a size smaller. (Really I need a 4 to accommodate my bottom, but a 2 is more appropriate for me from the waist up.) I think some of the other reviewers who wore this dress with a belt had the right idea - it helps to achieve the look that I think this dress is trying for. But I still received a lot of compliments and the dress was very comfortable, too- I would wear it again if I could, and just add a belt to help with the waist issue.

Length was perfect, fit pretty well - the smaller size was just a tad too tight - this one was just a little big around the waist, and the top seemed a little uneven. Tight on one side of my chest and loose on the other..But it was not really noticeable to anyone else, and still very comfortable - Plus, I was very happy not to be dealing with pulling up a strapless bra/dress all night while on the dance floor!
