True to size, the lace panels have stretch to them, so the arms don't fit too tightly. It's a tight fitting dress, but with enough stretch so that it's not too tight in the tummy area, although I did wear tights/spanks. The dress did tend to ride up a bit, but I was comfortable even with that because I had on tights. Great dress all around, would rent again.

It's a cute dress, but I didn't love the way it fit me. The lines and the cut of the dress seemed to outline every lump and bump and even with control top tights, I just didn't love the silhouette.

The fit is definitely small - I normally wear a 6, ordered an 8, and it was still slim fitting through the waist and bust. I love the sleek look of the dress, but I wouldn't call it a wow. You would want to dress it up with some cool jewelry and shoes. Great material that tends to hide imperfections, very nice quality of dress.

The fit was definitely a bit larger than I expected - it looked big on me, not as fitted through the waist as I would have liked. Also - the fabric is more knit than anything, has a neat wave pattern, but the opaqueness and slight sparkle to the knit really make this more of a conservative special occasion dress rather than a work outfit. I would recommend for a conservative event, date night, even a fall or winter wedding.
