"Va-va-voom"

Those were the words of the mother of the groom at the wedding I wore this too. It is very low cut - you could see my sternum - but if you don't have a lot of cleavage it's enough coverage. I'm a 32C-32D, and I felt covered enough, although it was considerably more revealing than my usual choices. The quality of the fabric in this dress is excellent - photos do not do it justice. Yes, it is a very simple design, and I was worried it would be too "plain", but the drape and sheen of the fabric made me feel like a million bucks. It is also cut very well - it draped and cut over my waist in a way that really accentuated it. And it was the PERFECT length. I'm 5'6" and was wearing 2-2.5inch heels and it was literally perfect, just skimming over the floor. A perfect dress for a maid of honor - I felt beautiful and sexy, instead of the vaguely-tacky dresses bridesmaids usually have to wear.

Size down! Gorgeous color.

I usually wear a 4 but there is a ton of fabric in this dress and the waist is elasticated, so I'm very glad I sized down. The color and length felt very modern and I felt very chic. It wasn't the most flattering on me - there is a lot of fabric, and would probably look fabulous on someone a bit curvier than me - but it still looked pretty good. Really good quality fabric and construction. The only flaw is that the pleats in the chest and back kept wrinkling and popping out - it could probably do with a starch press. I still loved wearing it though.

Cute velvet dress with grandma vibes

I liked this dress - it was a bit big in the waist, so I would have ideally sized down. The fabric is fairly thick and velvety, and the peekaboo cutout at the bust is cute and not "too much". I nearly wore it to a rehearsal dinner, but ultimately decided the pattern made the dress more appropriate for someone in their 40s or 50s. I have a ~26 inch waist and could have sized down easily.

The top just didn't fit right

Did not wear this dress - the chest and waist were not very flattering on me. It wasn't that the dress was too big - it just wasn't cut right.

Lightweight with an unusual hem

I decided not to wear this in April because it was far too lightweight for an outdoor event on a cool day. Pretty fabric, drapes well, although the hemline is a bit odd - it's more disconnected than it looks in the photos.
