This Tory Burch was a last-minute impulse rental, but it was a solid choice for a December wedding. Very thick fabric and flattering fit. The boning in the top was a bit uncomfortable when sitting, but other than that I had no complaints. For reference I'm 5'4", and the dress came down a few inches above my ankles. Good for petite frames, not too overwhelming.

As some of the other reviewers noted, the dress is a little shorter than a typical gown. The dress was floor length on me with two inch heels (I'm 5'4" for reference). I actually preferred the slightly shorter cut... No stepping on my hem all night! I'm not sure how the dress would work with a bra because of the low back, but the fabric is sturdy enough to go without. Because of the shorter length, I would recommend for anyone 5'6" and under.

Ran true to size, but be aware that the top of the inseam starts very high. Because of this I would only recommend for someone on the petite side (5'5" and under).
